Only a few hours after the Venditalia Special Edition closed, Roberto Lamesta, Comesterogroup's Sales Director for the Italian Vending, Industrial and Laundry market, comments: 'This special edition of the trade fair has been a great success with the public, especially among our customers operating in foreign markets, all thanks to the Expo. It was definitely an exhibition with an international flair. Our stand was widely visited and our product offerings for the automatic distribution market were greatly appreciated.'
This is echoed by Carles Aleixandre, SuzoHapp's Executive VP & General Manager for the Global Vending market: 'We are very pleased with the number of visitors we welcomed at our stand. We had the chance to meet many customers and partners and to make new contacts to whom we presented the advantages of our money handling solutions for cash and cashless transactions.' Indeed, our Group's product offerings include several products for handling coins and notes as well as cashless transactions. 'Cashless payments are very popular abroad and are becoming increasingly so in Italy, thanks to the convenience and security of transactions for both the operator and the end user,' explains Aleixandre. 'Our R & D team is very attentive to market developments and tries to anticipate trends, in order to develop flexible solutions that are able to add value to operators businesses. The patent pending project, RFT srl 'Smart Irda,' for example, was developed to meet a specific requirement: to collect accounting data from Vending machines in a fast and practical way, using a tool that is already in daily use: the smartphone.' And the smartphone also plays its role in the handling of NFC payments, made possible by the Galaxy's reader.
Investments in the WorldKey cashless range demonstrate the Group's belief in innovation and in the future, continues Lamesta: 'The innovative features in our cashless range are what's needed today. We have taken advantage of this important industry event to bring to market Happy, a new payment support product that is fully customisable and which will join the existing range of keys, cards, tags and stickers. But there's more than that. The fair was also an opportunity to present the updated WorldKey UltraLite to the public, which now comes with useful additional features as well as accessories, such as the WorldKey Printer, WorldKey Scan and the WorldKey WiFi Unit, which are respectively used to print receipts, scan QR-codes and collect accounting data for all Vending machines installed in the same location.'
Not forgetting the Currenza C2, the only coin changer on the market equipped with PRP (Payout Redundancy Protection) and 3 independent motors to ensure maximum payout reliability as well as minimise downtime. However, the product offerings created by SuzoHapp and Comesterogroup do not end there. Indeed, they are becoming increasingly integrated, thanks to a range of components and accessories developed specifically for the automatic distribution market. 'Today we are able to offer our target market a wide range of solutions ranging from payment systems to change machines, from buttons to touch screen monitors, from decounter to telemetry systems' concludes Lamesta, 'so that operators have everything they need to meet their specific requirements.'
Venditalia Special Edition has also served to underline the consolidation of the SuzoHapp name in Vending, and it is now recognised as a global manufacturer of cash and cashless payment systems, components and accessories for the automatic vending market.
SuzoHapp and Comesterogroup present their integrated product range at each of the European Vending Road Show stages and after Milan will stop over in Brussels on 8 and 9 June for Vending & Barista Benelux, thereafter in Manchester on 30 June and 1 July for Avex before continuing on to Eu'Vend in Cologne between 24 and 26 September and finishing back in Manchester on 17 November with a new edition of Vendex North.
