Suzo Happ Presents Extensive Solutions At FER Madrid

The key exhibition for the Spanish amusement and gaming industries – the FER – took place between 24th and 26th March in Madrid. Reflecting an economy that is rebounding after several years in difficulty, the optimism at the FER was clear to see and feel at the show. Now is the time for operators to make their long postponed investments. Suzo-Happ naturally was at the FER in strength to support local manufacturers and operators.
Suzo-Happ’s Bill-to-Bill has been the focus of attention. This high-end banknote recycler provides a recycling capacity of up to 300 banknotes. This revolution in cash handling is finding new applications. A classic example is for electronic roulette in Spain. Manufacturers of change and payment machines prefer the Bill-to-Bill, especially in the sports betting market. Sports betting machines have another thing in common in Spain – they all make use of the TransAct printer. Suzo-Happ is the exclusive global distributor for TransAct in the gaming industry. The Spanish gaming market is a key market for ELO Touch and naturally the wide range of ELO touchscreen solutions are on proud display on the Suzo-Happ stand.
Suzo-Happ has a perfect selection of change machines. Mr. Harald Wagemaker, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing of Gaming and Casino EMEA, notes “Having acquired Comesterogroup only last year, this was the first Spanish show to see the Comestero change machines within the Suzo-Happ Group. The interest has been excellent and we are confident that the market is back into growth phase in Spain”.
Spain naturally belongs to the countries that are most popular for tourism. Thus, the amusement sector plays an important role at the FER and Suzo-Happ has all the solutions revolving not just round spare parts and components. John Vallis, Vice President Amusement Sales EMEA for Suzo-Happ, attending the FER in person, explains, “In particular both operators and manufacturers are looking for amusement solutions for billiards and redemption. Our BilliardPRO range covers all the needs for billiards, pool and snooker, such as cues, cue cases, cue tips, balls, triangles, overhead lighting and table cloth. Our product range within CompetitionPRO is just as strong with a great number of solutions for the redemption market”.
The PRO range of Suzo-Happ represents products and solutions directly developed and manufactured by Suzo-Happ for the market. Further solutions include the InteractivePRO, PowerPRO and LightPRO.
