TAB-Austria with kiosk models at this year’s EL 2007 in Budapest.
The “European State Lottery and Toto Association” (EL) congress was held for the fourth time from 21 to 24 May 2007 in Budapest. A total of 600 registered participants accepted the invitation to find out more about latest developments and trends. Besides the opportunity of taking part in extensive specialist discussions, the event enabled 26 exhibitors to present their products. With TAB-Austria also doing so for the first time.
TAB-Austria had already made a name for itself years ago as a manufacturer of touch screen terminals. Its years of experience and its adaptation to market trends consequently attracted the attention of other kiosk customers. TAB-Austria has for a long time been producing different kiosk models for renowned international customers on a variety of sectors.
Due to the fact that individuality is an important factor in the industry, it is often decisive that terminals can be customized and adapted to customer needs. That’s why TAB-Austria already seeks to work closely with customers on designs during the planning phase. “Attention here focuses on customer requirements. Development, design and technical requirements are always coordinated with customers with terminals being developed in accordance with their requirements,” explained Mr Dattl, managing shareholder at TAB-Austria.
One very satisfied customer is, for instance, Best Gaming Technology AG in Vienna (BGT). BGT provides an innovative form of betting services with its new “BGT.live” sports betting terminal: the unique incorporation of television signals presenting live images in conjunction with a broad range of corresponding live bets means that the BGT.live terminal is able to combine the excitement of sports betting with the entertainment value of live events.
“This concept requires robust hardware using two screens, both configured as touch screens, as well as an attractive design that integrates all components in a stylish and user-friendly manner. With TAB-Austria, we have found a partner who fulfils our requirements in the best way possible. The many years of experience that TAB-Austria possesses in terminal design, its familiarity with the industry and its international operations were also factors in our decision to work with the company,” Siegfried Fettinger of BGT commented.
Besides its flexibility, the speed of delivery is also a top-priority at TAB-Austria. The last major order for 9,000 kiosk terminals was fulfilled in just six months production time. With its just-in-time production where around 400 terminals were completed each week, TAB-Austria set new standards in the industry.
