In summer 2018, after more than a year of planning and construction work, the first "BIG WAVE" water slide was finally opened in the Erding thermal baths. The BIG WAVE combines two products from wiegand.waterrides, the SIDEWINDER and the BIG BANG, which was first built as as introductory version in the Therme Erding.

The gigantic hybrid summer slide can be used with both 1 and 2 person rafts and consists of 26 tons of stainless steel and 45 tons of galvanized steel. The part of the BIG BANG alone has gigantic dimensions of 20 meters lengh by 14 meters width. The BIG WAVE is currently the largest raft slide in Germany with a height of 18 meters and 180 meters in length. With a top speed of 45 km / h you can reach up to 3G in the slide. An unforgettable adrenaline and action experience is guaranteed thanks to the fast cornering and pendulum movement while riding.
