A range of electric cars available for any IP, the Garmendale electric car range is available in a huge range of specifications and design suitable for children aged 5-13 years. The driver has full steering, throttle and braking control, with variable speed up to 4 mph.

Garmendale Electric Cars are a hard working and reliable addition for any attraction. They are battery powered and designed to run for a full seven-hour shift between charges and require minimal maintenance. The Gel Coat bodies are tough and easy to clean and will look clean and bright for many years in operation.

The chassis of the car is fabricated from mild steel S275JR and welded to BS EN 15614 and comprises of a fully welded chassis complete with drive train bracketry, steering mechanism, axle and axle mounts, battery compartments, on board charging unit, on board controller, radio link and finished in black semi gloss paint. 

Intelligent Charging

The Garmendale electric cars can be supplied with intelligent charging systems to ensure they are always charged and ready. They are fitted with charge indicators so you know their state of charge and designed for absolute minimal maintenance.

Durable Bodywork

The vehicle body is made from a one piece GRP unit, comprising of seat, floor and cockpit area includes an ergonomically designed padded seat and backrest, safety lap belt and soft touch steering wheel. It can be designed to suit almost any IP from planes, trains to automobiles. All four wheels are within the boundary of the body and include solid rubber tyres with roller bearings.

Each vehicle has individual driver steering with operator override via radio control. They are fitted with bumpers to all four sides to avoid minor damage.

In operation since 2007

You can see some of our cars in operation at Legoland Resort Windsor which have been running since 2007. Newer cars are in operation at Sundown Adventureland in the UK too.
