In gratitude and recognition for assisting in the raids and arrests of Megatouch copies in Thailand, Bob Fay, Director of Government Relations for Merit Entertainment, recently presented Police Major General Vongrungrot Kowit with a letter of appreciation.
On March 26th, Fay visited the Royal Thai Economic and Cyber Crime Division offices in Bangkok, Thailand, and personally thanked Major General Kowit, commander of the division, for the support and actions taken by his team in raids conducted earlier that month, which resulted in the seizure of counterfeit Megatouch products.
“We are thankful for the support and dedication of Major General Kowit and his team at the Economic and Cyber Crime Division”, stated Fay. “We believe these raids have sent a strong message that piracy and infringements of Merit’s copyrights in Thailand will not be tolerated.”
