Airpac Rentals Rigsafe and Safe Area Air Compressors produce volumes of 70 cfm through to 2100 cfm. Pressure variants start at 8.6 bar (125 psi) through to 35 bar (508 psi), with discharge air temperature controlled through integral or external aftercoolers.

Rigsafe Air Compressors
Rigsafe and Safe Area equipment is suitable for use in designated ‘Safe Areas’, where there is no known likelihood of an explosive atmosphere. 

Airpac Rentals classify their Rigsafe and Safe area units by pressure, with low pressure equipment offering compressed air volumes of 2m³/min (70 cfm) through to 56m³/min (2100 cfm) and pressure variants from 7 bar (100 psi) to 14 bar (200 psi). The high pressure range offers compressed air volumes of 900 cfm to 1070 cfm and pressure variants from 24 bar (350 psi) to 35 bar (508 psi). 

Caged and containerised units are mounted in a certified lifting frame/container with integral drip tray, providing protection and stacking of the units where deck space is at a premium. Skid mounted and wheeled/trailer units are also available ensuring there is an Air Compressor available for any type of application.

The Rigsafe specification range is fitted with battery or pneumatic start, spark arrestors and overspeed protection, making them suitable for offshore environments. 

Emergency Shutdown (ESD) is available to provide instant shutdown in the unlikely event of gas detection or similar hazards.
