Designed specifically for offshore and decommissioning operations, the TwinPower QAC 1450 delivers up to 1450 kVA from two 725 kVA diesel generators housed in a single unit 20ft DNV2.7-1 certified container.
The twin generators can run independently during low-load periods or in parallel for full output, maximising fuel efficiency, minimising emissions, and ensuring continuous uptime even during maintenance.
Because the TwinPower QAC 1450 can maintain half of its output even during maintenance, and because its design supports extended 500-hour service intervals, offshore and decommissioning teams benefit from fewer interruptions and a consistent supply of critical power.
And what’s more, the TwinPower QAC 1450 supports environmental stewardship as it offers up to 20 per cent fuel savings, HVO compatibility for lower-emission operation, and a fully contained frame that prevents spills.
Its quiet and compact container also reduces disruption and simplifies repositioning as the physical layout of sites change during decommissioning work.
Overview:
In summary, the TwinPower’s compact design and fast-paralleling system provides flexible, reliable power in the most demanding environments.
