Aberdeen Drilling School has been supporting our clients’ move into deepwater drilling operations since the 1980’s. Though our deepwater training was first delivered and designed for nearshore Scotland operations over 20 years ago, our training has evolved in line with new technologies and advanced methods now available to the Deepwater Fields West of Shetland in the North Atlantic.  

Over recent years we have supported clients with deepwater training and coaching services in the North Sea, North Atlantic, South Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, South China Sea, Indian Ocean, Caspian and Arabian Gulf.  Our services range from deepwater DWOP sessions, training of wells teams on design and implementation, through to delivery of deepwater drilling and well control for the rig-site drill crew.
