Polin Aquariums is pleased to announce that Trabzon Aquarium, another successful aquarium project in Turkey has been completed. It is the first black sea aquarium. This aquarium is also the first to be built in a tunnel linking the Tabakhane and Zagnos valleys of Trabzon. This aquarium is a landmark in the valleys. This is the only exhibit of its kind in the world.

The aquarium's floor area measures 3500m2 and has 8 zones. The aquarium's entrance features the world's lakes, rivers, and a variety of species, including the Amazon River, Lake Tanganyika and Lake Malawi. The terrarium zone displays reptiles from different regions, following lakes and rivers. The aquarium's experience zone shows visitors the daily life of biologists and aquarists.

The fourth area of the aquarium features different species of fish from different oceans. The Shark Hall, which is located in the fourth zone of the aquarium, provides information on shark anatomy, habitats, and any educational content that is related to this extraordinary creature.

The touch and discover area will be another educational area that offers many encounter opportunities for guests. The caved zone, which will be located before the main attraction of an aquarium, will feature different species of deep-sea creatures.

The aquarium's end is accessed via a tunnel measuring 21 meters in length. The tunnel aquarium is a collection of aquatic animals mainly from the Turkish seas.
