Polin Aquariums continues to support the Old Doha Port-Grand Terminal Project Aquarium. Our teams are currently working on the installation of acrylic and life support systems. This aquarium will become a landmark in the Old Doha Port. It will also be used by guests arriving to Qatar World Cup 2022.

The aquarium will reflect the Arabian Sea coral species. It will also display rock formations. It will contain 6000m3 of water volume and 41 aquatic species, carefully chosen by experts from the Arabian Sea. Two separate escalators/underwater tunnels will be available, one for passengers departing and one for passengers arriving. The aquarium will also be visible from all sides thanks to the acrylic panels on both floors.

Polin Aquariums uses advanced concrete construction and mechanical and electrical systems. They also use information technology to provide the best possible environment for viewing aquatic species. The success of the Old Doha Port-Grand Terminal Project Aquarium will be possible thanks to the expertise and experience of a team that includes engineers, veterinarians, biologists, vets, and technical specialists.
