All sofa beds conform to BS 7176:2007 Medium Hazard which is the Contract upholstery seating standard for Hotels and Hospitality properties. The BS 7176:2007 tests involve Hypnos producing composite samples of their sofa bed constructions and standard upholstery fabrics which are subject to the Ignition Source 5 (Crib 5) test and also a cigarette and match test and also a watersoak.
