A new range of miniature leak free, lightweight, hose barbs is introduced by The West Group Limited. The patented unique design of each swivel allows for 360 degree rotation and incorporates captured double o-ring seals, to prevent leakage.
Swivel barbs solve the problem of tube alignment and rotation commonly found when using conventional fixed barbed fittings. Swivel fittings are supplied in 3 formats, straight swivel, swivel elbows and swivelled tees.
Each fitting is available in a variety of barb diameters with a selection of 5 differing o-ring seal compounds. The housing is manufactured in black nylon or clear polypropylene.
The fittings are suitable for use on a variety of medias including compressed air to a maximum supply pressure of 125 PSI (8.6 bar). Operating temperatures are 5 degrees to 48 degrees centigrade.
