Our Kurpie fabric takes its name from one of Poland’s many ethnic regions, one that is noted for its own type of traditional costume and unique folk embroidery. This design is inspired by 19th & 20th Century embroidery from female folk costumes in the region. We use a strong mix of Viscose, Cotton and Flax so the fabric can be used for upholstery as well as for making blinds, drapes or cushion covers. This helps to create a rustic but elegant range, perfect for that country chic feel.
