Our fabulous Vintage Refreshed rugs at Bazaar Velvet are all about blending the old with the new. These stunning items are created from once loved traditional woollen rugs collected from all over Turkey. They are then shaved, rubbed down and bleached in the beautiful Mediterranean sun. Afterwards they are ready to be dyed in a wide range of eye-catching colours.

To make our vintage patchwork, we go a stage further. Some of the rugs are cut into pieces then united with others to be artistically assembled into a completely new design. In either case, each rug is entirely unique, full of character and history.
