Gaming Realms, the team behind Foxy Bingo, is re-entering the online bingo industry with the multimillion pound launch of Bingo Godz, a mobile, level-based bingo game. The team’s successful track record includes the sale of the operator of Foxy Bingo for £95.9m back in 2009.
New game Bingo Godz launches next Friday 13th September. Played for real money prizes, it is the first to combine traditional bingo with level-based gameplay and works across mobile, tablet and desktop. Players unlock levels and features, as they progress through the game collecting up to 36 Bingo Godz characters.
Patrick Southon, Chief Executive Officer for Gaming Realms, commented: “As well as attracting traditional bingo players, we expect to attract tens of thousands of new players from the ‘Candy Crush generation’. The future of the industry is games people can play on their smartphones and with friends. Bingo Godz gives a new and unique way to do this.”
Gaming Realms began trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) earlier this month after completing a £12m reverse takeover of technology firm Pursuit Dynamics. Gaming Realms also incorporates social gaming operator BeJig and mobile developer AlchemyBet.
The Bingo Godz launch is being supported with a high-profile TV advertising campaign.
