14/6/07 - EELEX: 16th anniversary of gaming's 3rd largest event
This year, on October 3-5, will see the 16-th anniversary of the world’s 3-d biggest trade show EELEX, one of the central events in the gaming and entertainment industry. In 2007, EELEX is a must more than ever. After “the wild market era” gaming industry in Russia is trying the taste of “real things”, it has a strong legislative base and is ready for the next slot boom at the background of an unbelievable economic rise in the country.

EELEX: a great gaming venue
The unique potential and perspectives of the Russian gaming market are astonishing: it has 400 000 gaming machines half of which needs to be replaced or exchanged, thus a huge demand for new ones. Russia remains a great retail, stock and used equipment market with unique products diversity and highly flexible offers from local producers and distributors. Russia is a crucial part of CIS countries consolidated market including an incredibly blooming market of the Ukraine. The 4 selected gaming zones inside Russia soon will need more equipment – from on-line systems to accessories. Russian operators themselves are energetically exploring the markets of Latin America, Africa and Europe thus taking an active part in the world’s global business process.

EELEX headlines amusement industry
In the entertainment sphere the situation is also extremely promising: hundreds of 100 000 – 500 000 population cities in Russia require new spaces and equipment for amusement activities; hundreds of being-built and already finished trade centers across the country are willing to serve as bases for amusement locations with a great increase of demand for all kinds of equipment. Soon there will be much more such locations – from tiny “family” centers to huge amusement parks.

EELEX rules!
So, what is EELEX and why it is important to be there? It is an ideal meeting place for the industry elite at the world class Crocus Expo Center in Moscow – one of the most dynamic world’s capitals to date. It is hundreds of exhibitors, countless chances to make new and revive the old business contacts, fantastic parties and, of course, a matter of prestige.

A Congress during the Expo will introduce governors of the 4 country regions recently selected as special gaming zones – the so-called “Russian Las-Vegases”; there the industry experts will speak of the gaming legislation aspects in Russia.

It goes without saying that the Russian gaming and amusement industry is entering a new phase. That’s why it is so important to be at the Russian market today, and EELEX is its key. Being at EELEX means being at the Russian market.

13/6/07 - Suzo Appears on TV as money handling expert
Suzo International has a wealth of experience in the distribution and manufacturing of specialised spare parts. Therefore, when Dutch TV channel RNN7 was looking for a focus for their “Money and Finance” section, they turned to Suzo. Marc Aarts, Suzo International Sales Manager for the Benelux, explains, “Being a Dutch company with over 50 years of experience, we are well-known with the media. Therefore, it was our pleasure to accept RNN7’s invitation to give specialized information on this topic”.

The topic was actually a focus on counterfeit money and counterfeit detection. Suzo International has a wide range of banknote readers on offering (MEI and Pyramid Technologies) and so has much experience on how banknote readers master counterfeit rejection. Furthermore, Suzo International also offers a range of banknote detectors (for example for the retail market) with its own range of products CatCoin. “The combination of offering banknote readers and banknote detectors makes us the ideal candidate to inform the public on counterfeit detection”, Marc stated.

Marcel Oelen, Suzo International’s Managing Director stated, “It was a pleasure to have RNN7 as our guest. My thanks also go to Marc Aarts who represented us. Now we have our own TV star within the company!”
