11/10/05 - Brent grabs X-Factor crane distribution
Brent Sales has added to its already impressive portfolio of international coin-op products by securing exclusive distribution rights to the X-Factor crane. Widely regarded as the best crane on the market, the X-Factor distribution deal was agreed with Innovative Concepts in Entertainment in the week preceding London?s Preview exhibition.

John McKenzie, sales director at Brent/Namco, said: ?The Brent X-Factor?s head-spinning graphics, lighting and sound conceal impressive, easy-to-use software capabilities that allow total access to gameplay, statistics and performance. I am delighted to be going to Preview with such a high profile and proven game whose credentials are underlined by the fact that we have already achieved significant levels of advance orders for X-Factor from a number of notable operating companies both within the UK and abroad.?

11/10/05 - International suppliers add to ATEI's global status
International suppliers add to ATEI?s global status

The 2006 ATEI is set to become the stage for the most international event in the show?s history, if early indicators of confirmed stand bookings are anything to go by. At the beginning of October, little under four months before the Earls Court doors open (24-26 January), 253 companies from 30 nations had made their commitment to the London Show ? 117 of which are based outside the UK.

The proportion of ATEI?s overseas exhibitors currently stands at 46.2 per cent, almost six points higher than the ratio of 40.5 per cent present at the 2005 show, which had exhibitor representation from 28 countries. A key driver in the increased international participation, according to organisers ATE, is the number of new companies signing up for the show. Of the 28 ATEI debutants already booked onto the show floor, 21 are based outside the home nation.

ATE?s head of exhibitions, Karen Cooke believes that the early figures bode well for yet another international amusements spectacular: ?New overseas companies signing up for January?s show currently outnumber their British counterparts by a ratio of three to one. It?s clear that many of these organisations recognise ATEI as the best way to meet face-to-face with a vast international audience of potential customers,? she commented.

Cooke added: ?This really is a win-win situation for everyone concerned as the prospect of seeing an ever wider range of products and services from every corner of the globe provides operators, distributors and retailers with even more incentive to make the trip to London."
