5/1/05 - New rides at ATEI
Jolly Roger (Amusement Rides) Limited will be exhibiting five new rides for the first time at this year's ATEI Show to be held in London later this month (Stand No. 1020). This will be our largest ever showing of new models, reflecting the major investment and expansion of our business since the acquisition of the Mitchells Children's Rides brand in mid 2005.

On show this year will be:-

Sergeant Stripes - a fantastic new licensed character ride featuring a catchy theme tune and authentic sound effects (the cartoon series is very popular and is currently showing on Cbeebies with a 33% audience share across the target 4 -6 age range).

World Rally Car Video Simulator - this ride won't be complete until the week before the show so no photo unfortunately. This is an exciting new licensed interactive video ride based on the World Rally Car Championship. With a global TV audience of 800 million (including a large fan base in the youth market) this ride is aimed at attracting children in the 4 to 11 age range. The video shows real "on-board" footage of four exciting stages of the championship (each stage is selectable). The child gets an authentic feel for the rally as the ride lifts, dips and turns following the rally course, bringing interactivity to a new level of realism.

Bob The Builder Photo Ride - Now children can ride along with Bob the Builder and have their photo taken! This latest version of Scoop dispenses a high quality full colour photo with every ride. By combining this premium vending opportunity with the world's most successful licensed character ride profits are bound to soar. As Bob would say..."Can we fix it?.... Yes we can!"

Noddy - a re-launch of the extremely popular licensed character. With a new TV series of "Say it with Noddy" (100 x two minute episodes) now showing on Channel 5, the awareness and cash generating potential of this ride is excellent. Featuring a catchy theme tune and authentic sound effects from the cartoon series.

City Tour Bus - a large three-seater video ride. This ride was shown to a selective audience at the Deith open Day last summer, but this will be the first showing of the ride at a trade exhibition. It features real video footage of a London bus tour and realistic sound effects. The three seats and video screen gives tremendous value to customers, allowing operators to charge a premium vend price.

15/12/05 - New Zealand Partner for Sound Leisure
Sound Leisure has signed a deal with leading New Zealand distributor Music Makers for its entire range of jukeboxes. The two companies have been working closely together for the past three years. "We are really pleased to confirm this partnership with Grant Davidson from Music Makers," said Sound Leisure Managing Director Chris Black. "Grant has visited the UK on numerous occasions for the ATEI and has then travelled up to Leeds to view the factory and spend time learning about the wide range of technologies and solutions that we can offer." "From the first time he visited us he expressed an insatiable appetite for the Sound Leisure range of products and has been determined to take on the range for distribution in New Zealand, however due to other restrictions that we had in that part of the world, this has never been possible until now. We are extremely pleased that we now have an individual who is respected and has unmatched knowledge of his local market representing our product," he added. Grant Davidson, from Auckland-based Music Makers said, "I don't recall asking Santa Claus for the distributorship, but it's a pretty good Christmas present and a very timely one at that, and I am extremely pleased to be working with Sound Leisure and all the team in Leeds." "I have known Alan and Chris Black for well over 16 years as a regular visitor to ATEI and have always admired their inventive approach and design in the development of jukeboxes, no more so than in the new digital era, where I sincerely believe they lead the field," he added.

9/12/05 - P Series Bill Acceptor Release from ICT
Currency handling pioneer International Currency Technologies (ICT) is very excited to introduce the new generation bill acceptor, the P Series, which is the novel design that features a new high tech processing engine that offers an outstanding acceptance rate combined with lightning note handling speed.

Simply speaking, P Series is the grand design to anyone who is simply thirsty for the incredible currency handling speed and the high acceptance rate. Equipped with ICT's new High-Tech Processing Engine inside, P Series provide highly efficient discrimination for notes of highly varied quality and counterfeit rejection. Except that, you will also be impressive by the P Series' bill handing speed, because ICT believes the faster you can take a note, the faster you can begin taking another one.

What's the benefit of that? ICT president Yuan-Fong Chang said "Even we put all our focuses on the ability of acceptance rate of bill acceptor; we should never forget to consider of what customers need. More efficient and more convenient units are what customers consider important. No one will feel satisfied with a fancy looking bill acceptor, but a customer-oriented product, ICT president Yuan-Fong Chang also noted "This time, we are not going to say too much about how Anti-String Efficient and how easy maintenance P Series have, because those are the basic needs for customers. We are very proud to introduce to customers around the world about the P Series. Because P Series keep on presenting ICT's business philosophy --To understand our customers and to figure out what we can do for our customers--"
