8/1/07 - Cashcode Expands into 2007
CashCode Telequip and NRI were brought together under the Crane Payment Solutions umbrella just one year ago. This is the first year that they are jointly exhibiting at the ICE/ATEI show.

The company is increasing its international gaming presence. Recently, Cashcode has added three key members to grow the regulated gaming markets.

Markus Prader, was hired on November 1st as Director of Business Development, South Africa Gaming. This is in addition to Clint Young who was hired earlier in 2006 as Sales/Technical Representative.
The addition of these two members to our Global Gaming team demonstrates our commitment to the SA marketplace. Markus has over 12 years of management experience in casino operations in Russia and South Africa. Having been on the operator’s side of the industry, Markus will be able to relate to the needs of the operators and will be able to work closely with OEM’s to ensure the end-user-customer benefits from the CashCode product.

“CashCode is investing in the South African market, and is focused on being an important player in the further development of the South African gaming industry, together with operators and suppliers.” Said Mr. Sim Bielak, VP Sales & Marketing.

“Although I have extensive gaming experience from Las Vegas and Russia, I am a South African, and will be returning to a market that I am very familiar with. A market in which I can use my local and international experience to help establish CashCode in the South African market, and to ensure that CashCode’s internationally unsurpassed reputation in the industry is replicated.“ said Mr. Prader.

The third addition In November was John Dorahy as their Director of business development, Australia Gaming. This addition further emphasizes the company’s strong commitment to continued growth in the International casino and gaming markets.

CashCode bill validators have already been designed into a majority of the Australian gaming machines being exported to Asia and other parts of the world. With Mr. Dorahy on board, CashCode will now be able to support the local domestic market as well.

John brings a wealth of experience to his new role including positions at Aruze, Aristrocrat, Shuffle Master/Stargames, and most recently at IGT where he headed up their hotels sales division in NSW.

“I am looking forward to increasing the awareness of the CashCode product in Australia and especially in the NSW market where I hope to build on my excellent contacts with Manufacturers and Clients for business opportunities.” Said Mr. Dorahy.

“We are delighted to have someone with the vast experience and relationships that John brings to the team.” Said Mr. Sim Bielak, VP Sales & Marketing.

In terms of products being shown at Stand # 3228, National Rejectors, Inc. GmbH (NRI.) will focus on their G-13.mft series coin validators. In addition to the hugely successful parallel versions, NRI will be showing their updated Timer version which provide a timed output proportional to credit inserted and the new SGI version which offers full multi-coin acceptance & high validation performance through the Simple Gaming Interfaces. Of particular interest will be the USB version of G-13.mft which uses standard cable and interfaces with ccTalk protocol, offering easy implementation and the possibility of remote update of coin data, to respond to new coins or fraud situations.

Making its debut at the show will be the new range of hoppers, the G-38 Series. Available in 4 sizes these hoppers are available in ccTalk or parallel interface and offers high-speed reliable payout, to the last coin.

CashCode will have its full range of products designed specifically for gaming OEMs and operators. Their popular Frontload Bill Validator series are the most flexible and technologically advanced Currency validators ever designed for high security, front loading ticket in – ticket out gaming installations and have already been designed into many OEM platforms.

Another unique product offering been shown is the CashCode Bill-to-Bill Currency Management SystemTM. This unique product validates, recycles and dispenses bank notes for change. Ideal for Casino Redemption kiosks or other unique gaming projects.

Although, the name Telequip may not be synonymous with gaming payment solutions, it’s the most recent addition to the Crane Payment Solutions group and have been working with Kiosk Redemption manufacturers for many years. One of their product offerings, the CoinXpress, is a complete embedded coin dispenser solution for kiosks and self-service systems. It is a compact hopper-based system, which is available in a number of different configurations and capacities. All hoppers are easy to load and most importantly are controlled by a single intelligent 2-way interface making integration simple. If this technology is new to you, then stop by the stand for a demonstration.

The ATEI/ICE show offers visitors from around the world an opportunity to experience the expanded range of products and vision following the creation of Crane Payment Solutions; incorporating Crane CashCode, NRI & Telequip Corp. 2006 was an exciting year with significant investment by Crane and 2007 looks to be just as exciting.

8/1/07 - New Year, New Website
Cashmaster International, the innovative manufacturers and distributors of cash counting machines, have officially launched their new website. The multilingual site has been redesigned and rebranded in collaboration with web developers Become Interactive of Glasgow, to provide both current and prospective customers with more in-depth information about their innovative products and services.

Kenneth Macalister Hall, Cashmaster’s Corporate Communications Manager describes the new site as being critical to the company’s development “it’s the new face of Cashmaster. Its launch has allowed us to take full advantage of our recent corporate rebranding, but the most important improvement is the depth of information now available online. Anyone can now watch a demo, download a spec, a case study or manual – meaning that more people will be able to appreciate just how our machines can help businesses save time and money”.

In addition to demo and training videos, Cashmaster have also added an in-depth case study section, allowing prospective customers to exactly understand how, and in what context, other businesses use their machines.

Kenneth went on to say “we want to make it easy for our customers to view our products and accessories, to understand their applications and why other companies (of all sizes) choose to use them. We’ve also tried to make the site more user friendly and interactive, with customers now able to request a free trial via a simple online request form”.

The website contains many new features such as latest company news, improved usability and navigation, alternative text sizing options and is fully compliant with the latest Disability Discrimination Act laws.
