22/12/2006 - A new business partnership for payments in total security
Comestero Group, leader in the manufacturing and distribution of
payment system solutions, has signed a new business partnership with Giussani Serrature, a dynamic reality specialized in the production of security locks.
The partnership foresees Comestero Group as the distributor of a wide range of locks through the Group's strong distribution network. The network operates, indeed, in more than 80 countries in four different markets: entertainment, vending, car wash and industries.
The agreement is part of a larger project promoted by Comestero Group, aimed at giving an answer to its customers’ need of security, by means of effective and technologically advanced solutions.
Thanks to this agreement, Comestero Group, broadens its range of products with security locks, their distinctive features being the high protection standard from thefts and the remarkable quality-price rate.
The main models proposed are the following: cam locks, available with standard or differentiated figures, in the versions with bolts up to 15.000 combinations; switchlocks, suitable for electronic appliance and auxiliary circuits, locks with removable cylinder, studied to protect the vending machines cashbox and other suitable applications.
The tip of diamond of the whole range is the new reprogrammable lock with European patent : it is supplied with user’s keys in nickel silver and with a special programming key in brass, which allows the customers to choose their own combination and to change it, when needed, with a simple

The proven electronic technology of the 3.5” electronic coin selector EMP 800 is now also available with fast coin acceptance. The EMP 830 /Q v5 allows to accept up to 6 coins/sec. Additional coins or tokens may be programmed on site with the teach mode function. For coin sorting the sorters SRT 400 and SRT 500 are available.
Shown for the first time will be a counting scale that can be combined with small hoppers. The minimum size allows integration in almost all machines - a detailed monitoring of hopper contents is possible. The counting scale is available alternatively with ccTalk or MDB interface. The mini-hopper with ccTalk or MDB interface is connected via the counting scale to the machine. No additional plug-in connectors are necessary. The number of coins in the hopper can be retrieved via the interface at any time.

12/12/06 - Additions to note product range at ATEI
Currency validation specialist, Astrosys International Ltd, will be exhibiting at ATEI ‘07 through its European regional office, AstroSystems Ltd. Familiar to regular visitors, the highly successful GBA note acceptor and Microcoin coin validator product ranges will be presented.
Used by the likes of IGT for many of its global coin-in solutions, the Microcoin QL is a highly respected product which is in use throughout the world. Renowned as a very fast and multi-functional coin acceptor, the QL is adding to its reputation by introducing a specialised acoustic coin detection system, specifically designed to combat lead slugs.

Intercard just launched at the recent IAAPA Show in Atlanta a wireless unit that will delight all cashiers at FEC´s and Amusement Parks.

1/12/06 - Over 80 Fec's in Middle East using Intercard System
Intercard, one of the leading suppliers of debit card systems in the Amusement Industry just completed the installation of the Intercard Fidelis System at the latest and largest Al Othaim location in Saudi Arabia. Al Othaim has a chain of FEC locations and is using Intercard in other Amusement Centers since 2003. With this site, Intercard has installed over 50 FEC´s with the Intercard System in Saudi Arabia since 1996. Over 80 locations use the Intercard Fidelis System in the Middle East alone!
