03 April 2007 2/4/07 - AGI's Coolfire II conquers Switzerland
After the great success of Austrian Gaming Industries’ Coolfire™ I product generation, the company’s latest gaming platform Coolfire™ II and its Duo-Vision™ and Tri-Vision™ cabinets are well on their way to conquering Swiss casinos.
Successful gaming concepts and outstanding high-quality products have made Austrian Gaming Industries the most successful provider of electronic gaming equipment in Switzerland. The country is a key market for AGI and the top-performing Multi-Gaminator® is its favorite electronic gaming machine, in which various versions incorporate exciting game mixes for a maximum of flexibility and gaming fun.
Besides the great success of the Coolfire™ I gaming products, AGI is also the undisputed market leader when it comes to multi-players in Switzerland. With the Roulette products Novo TouchBet® Live-Roulette and Novo Multi-Roulette™ the company successfully retains a 100% market share.
The outstanding customer service provided by AGI’s local exclusive distributor ESCOR Automaten AG, is another vital factor of the success of AGI’s products in Switzerland. Pascal Chambettaz of ESCOR is highly satisfied and notes that AGI’s new Coolfire™ II gaming equipment is proving to be very popular among Swiss casino guests. “The cash box results are excellent,” says Chambettaz. “All the new games are well above the average Swiss casino slot performance.”
This new Swiss story of success is being driven by the Coolfire™ II games Enchanted Jewel™, Egyptian Experience™, Beyond the Stars™, Fruits on Fire™ and the brand new Hannibal™ as well as the buzzing Mosquitozzz™. The games are housed in the highly attractive Duo-Vision™ cabinet with two extra-wide TFT screens – Mosquitozzz™ even offers guests maximum action on all three wide-screens of the Tri-Vision™ cabinet.
Swiss casino operators appreciate AGI’s best selling combination of top-performing games and superior cabinets. Pascal Chambettaz comments: “The feedback I got from my customers at the ICE show in London was extremely positive. The new slant top with the 27” top screen was even rated as the ‘most beautiful slant top of the show’ and its flip screen feature, which allows the player to switch the main game from the bottom to the top screen, was praised as ‘pure genius’. With this feature the new slant top allows the guest to play in his ergonomically perfect position. It is obvious that my customers can hardly wait to get their hands on this machine, too”.
Chambettaz hopes to follow up the success of the best selling Multi-Gaminator® with the Coolfire™ II generation of games. The prospects are good. Several Swiss casinos have acquired whole clusters of Mosquitozzz™ in Tri-Vision™ cabinets that are attracting high levels of play.
16/3/07 - Dave & Buster's is considering E-Tickets
Dave & Buster's is considering E-Tickets, the paperless redemption operation developed by Sacoa:
Dave and Busters, which continues to use the Sacoa hardware in it's 48 stores, has expressed interest in Sacoa's new generation of wireless controllers. These have the capability of working with both paper tickets and 'E-tickets'. This would allow the Dallas-based company to save over a million dollars per year in paper ticket cost, without incurring any development costs and guaranteeing compatibility with the thousands of Sacoa controllers currently in use on it's non-redemption games. As the new generation wireless controllers are fully compatible with the previous generation, this would also enable D&B to eventually move to wireless operation's if it so chooses
