NRI – a leading manufacturer of coin handling equipment – is pleased to announce the appointment of two new sales managers – Andrea Zanella (pictured bottom) and Mark Simmons (pictured top). Both Andrea and Mark joined NRI in February 2007.
Andrea Zanella has joined NRI as Sales Manager - Italy, with a clear focus on the Italian vending market. Andrea is based in the Northern Italian town of Schio, in the Vicenza district (situated between Bergamo and Venice), where he lives with his wife and two children.
The Italian market continues to grow in importance to NRI. For this reason, customers can look forward to direct service in Italy, along with the NRI distributor in Italy, MDS. Andrea brings over 15 years of industry experience to NRI, with his previous position being with a well-known Italian manufacturer of vending machines where Andrea was sales manager. Asked why Andrea decided to join NRI, his answer was clear and precise:, “NRI is going places. This is a dynamic company with a clear plan for growth. NRI is renowned for quality products. The commitment that Crane has put into its payment solutions, with the recent acquisitions of CashCode and Telequip within the group, shows to me the opportunities here.”
Mark Simmons has joined NRI as Sales Manager – Overseas Group, responsible for the Australasian, African and Middle Eastern markets. Mark will be based in England, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Mark brings thirteen years of sales and technical work experience; the last three being in the vending industry, where Mark worked in international sales for a payment systems company.
Mark sees exciting times ahead with NRI and stated, ‘It is a pleasure to join a company that has a clear strategy for growth and is indeed implementing this. NRI is still firmly on the growth cycle which is good news for customers. With the product range that NRI offers and the further payment solutions within the Crane Group, I see NRI more and more as a solutions provider. This will be my challenge.” It is not only product quality and the strategic growth plan that Mark commented on,: “The people at NRI are very friendly and approachable. Bob Wiggers has joined the sales team as Sales Manager Benelux. Bob is new to the industry, but brings a wealth of sales experience in the technical field. Bob will be working for Marc Aarts to further strengthen Suzo’s capabilities in the Benelux. Marc commented,: “The Benelux markets are our home markets and are therefore of vital importance to us. We have always focused on the OEM customers, ensuring we can give them the service they require. We have seen that quality products and service go hand-in-hand, so it was the next natural step to offer such professional service to the operators”. Indeed, Bob Wiggers’ major focus will be sales support to the operators in the Benelux. FutureLogic, Inc., the leading manufacturer of thermal ticket printers for cashless gaming, today announced the appointment of Eric Meyerhofer (Pictured Top), the company’s former President and CEO, to the position of CEO/CTO. The company also announced that Frank Eckary has joined the company as President, bringing more than two decades of broad technology and senior business management experience to the organization.
Meyerhofer joined FutureLogic in 1988 and has played a pivotal role in guiding the company to its leadership position in the thermal printing industry. In his new role he will be responsible for setting strategic direction for FutureLogic technology initiatives and building strong relationships with the company’s global partners and OEM customers.
Eckary will assume primary responsibility for managing day-to-day operations, executing the company’s growth and development strategies, and continuing the improvement of business processes. Prior to joining FutureLogic, he held senior management positions with Xerox, Allied Signal, SPX and Viad Corporation. He holds a BS in Economics and Accounting and an MBA in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from BonnUniversity.
