Money Controls has been providing payment products and solutions to the amusement market for over 40 years, in which time it has gained unrivalled experience and expertise, and has developed the most comprehensive product portfolio — one that meets all coin, note and system requirements.
PayLink and PayLink Lite, Money Controls’ latest payment integration modules, dramatically reduce the time-to-market for PC-based machines. They enable developers to integrate a variety of payment peripherals into the software for new games without having to create bespoke payment software.
With USB Type B connectivity, they allow the connection of a range of payment peripherals, such as coin acceptors, bill acceptors and hoppers, as well as simple and fast connection of other units such as buttons and switches, and for PayLink, status LEDs, lamp drivers and serial meters.
PayLink Lite is a physically small module designed for the Amusement and Gaming market - it supports the open-standard ccTalk protocol.
As well as lowering costs, PayLink and PayLink Lite simplify peripheral configuration and ensure trouble-free peripheral upgrades
Ardac Elite, Money Controls’ latest bill and ticket acceptor, has raised bill validation to new levels, thanks to its state-of-the-art optoelectronics and its ultra-high-speed digital processing techniques.
Whereas traditional acceptors, typically, have to work with less than 10,000 data readings per bill, Ardac Elite has 200,000, covering the whole of a bill up to 85mm wide. And, as well as taking a true ‘full-colour’ image of the bill, Ardac Elite also scans the whole bill using UV and IR light, enabling it to identify the latest in-built security features anywhere on the bill, unlike competitive products which have ‘blind spots’. All this enables much more accurate note tables to be produced, resulting in the highest acceptance of street-grade bills and rejection of frauds.
It’s not just Ardac Elite’s acceptance rate that is attracting the attention of casino operators and OEMs: the ease of bill insertion, the minimal cleaning required, the ease of integration into existing machines and the proven Ardac heritage all add to its appeal. As does the ease and speed of updating both core firmware and note tables in situ, thanks to Ardac Elite EP, the USB hand-held, battery-powered update device.
Ardac Elite has been field-proven in casinos around the world over the last twelve months. Ardac Elite increases both revenue and player satisfaction, and can be easily retrofitted to all platforms.
Two exciting developments for Ardac Elite can be seen at coming trade shows:
•By connecting a PDA to the USB socket on the front of an Ardac Elite, staff on the casino floor can see a full-colour image of the last note inserted, an invaluable aid in settling floor disputes. •Optional four-way barcode reading means that, whichever way a ticket is inserted, Ardac Elite will read it.
