Over thirty years ago, we, Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co. KG, built our first stainless steel toboggan run. At that time we wanted to add a summer activity to our skilift operation. So successful was this project that it soon became more important than the winter season.
Today we supply a variety of toboggan runs world wide. Based on the proven summer toboggan run, we extended our range with the new all-weather sports installation Alpine Coaster in 1997.
Further products like our transport and experience ride Wie-Li® have followed.
We have never rested on our laurels. Our designers are working constantly on new developments and improvements to the comfort and safety of our equipment. Thus we are always a step ahead.

Our first stainless steel water slide was built in 1981. Now you find more than 380 Wiegand stainless steel water slides, mainly in Europe.
In 2006, we extended our range of water slides made of glass fibre reinforced plastic. Almost all cross sections are offered. With the Xtube® a tyre slide was developed, which is unparalleled in attractiveness, safety and optical impression. Apart from a few exceptions, all steel and stainless steel components for steps, sub construction and slide parts are produced in the factory of Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co. KG in Rasdorf. The GRP elements of our waterslides are delivered exclusively by a reliable, certified GRP specialist centre.
