Example Zaragoza: Part of this experience is the ride with the adventure ride «Floating Experience» through an artificial world created by means of multimedia engineering around the theme water. To back up this idea, the system for the trans- port of the guests has been designed as a water ride with floating vehicles. The main focus of attention of the designers is that the passengers are allowed to enjoy a multimedia- based show during a calm ride on free floating rafts, in comfortable position, quasi reclined in their seats. They shall have the impression to float slowly through the scenery. Therefore the boats need to suggest the flow of water and must not feel like being «pulled on rails». That is to say the join to the drive chain needs to allow vertical and horizontal movements and contacts with the track boundary need to be buffered softly.
