The t2 arctic is a spacious two-person, three-pole tunnel tent with an extended vestibule. The three-pole construction maximises stability and resistance to side winds and achieves an inner/flysheet separation that makes the t2 arctic not only our strongest but also our most weatherproof tunnel tent as well. The inner is roomy enough for three, but usually it is more comfortable for two, particularly in extended camping stays or in winter conditions (the red flysheet version includes snow flaps). This is an extremely durable tent, and a very reliable shelter for base camps in wilderness and remote areas. We classify the t2 arctic as a five-season tent.
The g2 trek xt is a large two-person, three-pole semi-geodesic tent with an extended vestibule. Its combination of stability, space and ability to withstand the elements makes it a popular choice for long camping trips - in fact it is our biggest-selling tent in Europe. The penalty for its internal volume and geodesic shape is its weight (at 3.2 kg, it is our heaviest two-person tent - even if it can actually sleep three) but even this is still manageable in a good load-carrying rucksack.
The t0 trek is a lightweight one-person tunnel tent that we believe is one of the most weatherproof solo shelters available. Its wedge-shaped inner gives space where it's needed - 'round the head and shoulders' and its aerodynamic two-pole shape outperforms the rest of the field in bad weather. The t0 trek is ideal for backpacking and trekking for solo travellers. However, it is also surprisingly spacious and can take two adults at a pinch, making it popular for two-person teams in mountain marathons and similar events. It is a four-season tent suitable for most climates and regions, although in extreme conditions secure pitching and anchoring are obviously imperative. The porch area is small but can be made more spacious by unpegging the front of the inner tent and folding this back. Those wanting more storage or cooking space can choose the extended vestibule version
The t1 ultra is an exceptionally lightweight two-person tunnel tent that is ideal for long backpacking trips where the weight of every item has to be kept to a minimum. Despite its modest exterior, the t1 ultra is surprisingly spacious and easily accommodates two 190cm adults and equipment. To achieve its low packed weight, it uses the strongest and most durable ultralight fabrics available, making it a reliable shelter in remote areas. It is a four-season tent suitable for most climates and regions, although in extreme conditions secure pitching and anchoring are obviously imperative. The porch area is generous, but those wanting more storage or cooking space can choose the extended vestibule version
The t2 trek xt is a very spacious two-person tunnel tent with a large extended vestibule. Despite its apparent size, roomy inner and cavernous vestibule, it still weighs comfortably less than 3.0 kg. This combination of space and low weight, plus its excellent all-year-round performance, make the t2 trek xt one of our best sellers in Europe and the UK. It is versatile enough to be used for winter camping, wilderness trekking, cycle touring or base camp use - we have lost track of the number of places around the world where the t2 trek xt has turned up!
The f2 ultra tent is the latest addition to Lightwave's ultralight, high-performance tent range. Weighing in at an incredible 2.5 kg, it nevertheless offers all the weather-beating abilities of the full geodesic design. Thanks to the greater internal volume created by its four-pole structure, the f2 ultra also feels very spacious for a two-person tent, even though it only has the footprint of a t1 or g1. It is uniquely suited for mountain travel, wilderness trekking and lightweight expeditions where low weight and the ability to withstand bad weather are of the highest priority.
The S series is a range of medium-capacity rucksacks offering generous volume at a sub-kilo weight. The S series employs an ultralight frame unique to Lightwave (but which has flatteringly spawned several lesser imitations!). Combined with a generous wrap-around hip belt, it provides a comfortable and stable carry for loads of 12-15 kilograms.
Even though the S-series rucksacks weigh in at less than one kilogram, they are constructed with robust fabrics and retain a functional range of features.
The S series is available in three sizes, 42, 48 and 54 litres, with each size available in three back lengths
