More than 150 years, Chiba has been selected by the high quality of its products and its dexterity by the Austrian emperor to be the glove supplier to the imperial family....to produce gloves has always been a fine art.
Used to have to be chosen properly tanned leather, sanded to the correct thickness, be properly tightened and cut. Has the Glover worked only part wrong, the whole glove was useless. But today the demands are in terms of quality, functionality and durability high.
These high standards can be effective only if all the steps from the start of production is carefully controlled and monitored. Chiba purchases all raw materials, a self, suppliers are tested to high quality standards, the sections are constructed by skilled shoemakers and hand sewn by expert seamstresses.
Through our own ISO 2001 certified manufacturing Chiba is deeper in the development and emergence of gloves than any other manufacturer, for best quality, functionality, maximum protection and durability of all products and highest benefit to you.

Vor über 150 Jahren wurde Chiba durch die hohe Qualität seiner Produkte und seiner Handfertigkeit vom österreichischen Kaiser zum Handschuhlieferanten der kaiserlichen Familie gewählt.
Handschuhe zu produzieren war schon immer eine hohe Kunst.
Früher mussten die Leder richtig ausgesucht werden, gegerbt, in die richtige Dicke abgeschliffen, richtig ausgezogen und geschnitten werden. Hat der Handschuhmacher nur ein Teil falsch verarbeitet, war der ganze Handschuh unbrauchbar. Aber auch heute sind die Anforderungen bezüglich Qualität, Funktionalität und Haltbarkeit hoch.
Diesen hohen Standards kann man nur gerecht werden, wenn von Anfang alle Schritte der Produktion sorgfältig gesteuert und kontrolliert werden. Chiba kauft alle Rohmaterialien selbst ein, Lieferanten werden nach hohen Qualitätsstandards geprüft, die Schnitte werden von gelernten Handschuhmachern konstruiert und von erfahrenen Näherinnen genäht.
Durch die eigene ISO 2001 zertifizierte Produktion steht Chiba tiefer in der Entwicklung und Entstehung von Handschuhen als alle anderen Hersteller, für beste Qualität, Funktionalität, höchstmöglichen Schutz und lange Haltbarkeit aller Produkte und damit höchsten Nutzen für Sie.
