Nicholsons was founded in 1979 and is a well-established family plant nursery renowned for quality plants and service.

Situated in the village of North Aston is our 22 acre Oxfordshire nursery. Nicholsons grow over 55000 trees, hedging, screening plants and garden plants. We also have a network of specialist growers who we procure from to offer the full range. If any plant is not listed please ask us and we may be able to procure it for you.

Nicholsons has an experienced and highly qualified team of professional foresters who cover all aspects of woodland management including: project planning and design, fencing, planting, maintenance (weed control), thinning, felling and arboriculture. Nicholsons have four garden designers/landscape architects who offer a professional and creative planning service. This is backed up by experienced and qualified teams who can undertake projects from stately home terraces to bespoke small private gardens.

We also offer a complete full maintenance service.

We will construct gardens for other designers and have built gardens designed by John Brookes and Tom Stuart-Smith among others. While much of our work is for private clients we also carry out commercial work where a high standard of finish is desired. Paddock Fencing Ltd is an established business specialising in traditional style steel products. Many large estates and country parks use both the tree guards and estate fencing. The tree guards come in four different sizes for both pedestrian and livestock needs. The estate fencing is made in either two metre panels or the continuous type, which will accommodate undulating land and curves. Bow top Hand and field gates compliment the fencing, which can be made to order. Kissing gates are also a popular and attractive alternative. Paddock Fencing Ltd have also started producing residential fencing.

Cedar Nursery is near Cobham in Surrey, just down the road from Effingham and East Horsley and very convenient for the M25 and A3 road links.

Cedar Nursery are an independent business supplying both private and trade customers with a range of plants and products for landscaping projects.  We offer a range of quality shrubs, trees, stylish garden furniture and garden buildings.  We supply planters in a range of materials including bespoke fiberglass and metal.  In addition, our own brand of gravel stabilization panels, ‘StableDrive’ is trusted for landscaping projects of all sizes.

We are open 6 days a week Monday - Saturday and Bank Holidays.
