Clicktouch Force Sensors (CFS) convert physical pressure, weight and force into a variable resistance value. Dependent on the type and characteristics of the used materials, force sensors can withstand temperatures with typical values between -20 and +110° C. On top of the sensor, a protective plate (stainless steel, glass, acrylic glass, ?) can be mounted to make the construction vandal proof.
Capacitive keypads (CTS) is a capacitive detection technique that is suitable for various applications. The CTS keypad consists of a front plate on which a capacitive sensor is mounted at the back. Keys are controlled by means of a custom IC with dedicated software. The front plate can be made of polyester, acrylic glass, glass, or other non-conductive material, and can be printed or not. Dependent on the type of material, it can have a thickness of up to 20 mm. When using a transparent sensor, capacitive keypads can serve as digital touch screens. The panel can offer a total protection and does resist a high degree of vandalism.
