This totally silent DIGITAL-LOGIC computer for high performance applications operates on the basis of the Intel® Core 2 Duo with passive cooling. The main focus is on the integrated double core processor (2x1.5GHz), the modular memory design and the PCI Express expansion capability. Up to 2 hard drives (each with max. 500 Gigabytes, i.e. total of 1 Terabytes) can be connected to the MPC50 CPU via the SATA interface. Two internal PCI slots are available for expansion. For high performance peripherals the PCI Express bus can be connected to peripheral modules up to 7 metres away. Various options such as SCSI320, Advance Switching Network, PEG graphics, etc. are available on the basis of PCI Express.
