Kiosk Printer APU-9347
As an extension of their kiosk printer range, Seiko Instruments GmbH today released a compact plug-and-play solution for ATMs and all kind of kiosk terminals. With a print speed of up to 200m/s and a resolution of 8 dots/mm it produces clear and precise printouts. Paper rolls with a diameter of up to 10 inches can be accommodated.
The new APU-9347 includes printer mechanism, autocutter, controller board and cabling in one unit for plug and play applications. A paper sensor enables the unit to load paper automatically. The thermal head can be cleaned easily by opening the platen. Serial and USB interfaces are available with the corresponding drivers for WIN 2000 and WIN XP as well as Linux. Furthermore, a range of standard and two-dimensional barcodes are pre-installed and can be printed. A page mode ensures a free layout of printed data.

Citizen’s new Compact Kiosk unit, PMU2200/2300 is the ideal solution for kiosk applications where installation space is a premium and flexibility is a must. Based on the new high-speed LT2221/2321 series thermal mechanism, these little powerhouses feature a 2-inch or 3-inch wide mechanism, wider operational temperature range from - 20°C to 60°C ) for outdoor use or fluctuating temperature environments, removable head design for easy head cleaning and quick paper jam removal. Small and compact, the units feature a blazingly fast print speed of up to 150mm/second.
Have different paper-roll handling configuration problems? With the new Compact Kiosk unit PMU2200/2300 there is maximum flexibility with 28 variations of paper-roll handling for 60/80/102 diameter paper rolls and a wide variety of paper handling options. Installation way is also flexible like Horizontal installation and Vertical installation are available as standard. In addition, there are options for thick paper and ticketing applications. Interfaces include serial, parallel or USB.

The VKP80 II and KPM216H II now feature enhanced reliability (100 Km Head Life - 1.000.000 Cutter Life) and an Ethernet interface that allows monitoring via an IP address visible from any remote PC, plus diagnostics via the internet, regardless of operating system and plug&play connectivity of printers.

VKP80 II prints at 220mm/sec on paper width 60/80/82.5mm, adjustable by the user.
KPM216H II prints at 200 or 300dpi resolution on A4/US letter document size.

Overview
The 24-volt, FTP-627USL431/435-R measures a compact 145mm (H) x 105mm (W) x 120mm (D) and weighs 840g, including the interface board. The thermal print unit quietly outputs 58mm-wide paper receipts at speeds up to 100mm per second.
The fully programmable printer supports a variety of characters and graphics as well as standard, extended and 2-D barcode symbols. It has a rated head life of 100 million pulses or 50km of paper.

For long-term printing requirements, the unit handles paper rolls up to 83mm in diameter. Paper is inserted by drop-in roll loading using the platen release lever. A dedicated cutter motor provides reliable, continuous printing for 500,000 cuts.
