Desktop printer GeBE-PIANO® Mini prints
GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH introduces their new desktop printer GeBE-PIANO in miniature format.
The mini desktop printer was developed to process pay-and-display parking tickets. The printer is ideally suited for applications where credit vouchers need processing. Up to eight standard text blocks or bar codes can be stored and selected as needed. This smaller version of the already established GeBE thermal printer processes freely adjustable printer paper and ticket feedstock of 60mm width and up to 200µm thickness.
Appealing and flexible application
Any conceivable voucher or ticket printing is possible using the GeBE-PIANO Mini. Moreover, the nimble only fist sized thermal printer features framed metal surfaces matching the larger GeBE-PIANO printer. 2D barcodes can be processed in case large amounts of data need to be encrypted. This desktop device prints 2D code just as crisp as standard bar code. Extra high print resolution of 300dpi is available.

The printer is offered with a print resolution of 203 dpi or 300 dpi and a guillotine cutter for paper of maximum 150 g/m2. The printer has a Presenter function which takes care that the note is fully printed and cut before it is offered at the exit. This to avoid that the note is pulled by the user during printing. The printer also has a Retractor function which retracts the note if after a certain set time the note is taken by the user; this avoids littering.
The printer can handle paper media without any sensing means and paper media, that contain black marks or holes. The paper media that are on rolls with a maximum diameter of 20 cm can be mounted on the paper roll holder/stand, which also contains an adjustable paper-near-end sensor. The holder/stand is mounted under the printer (vertical paper stand) or behind the printer (horizontal paper stand).
