All the doors are pre-hung and all the elements are workshop finished to ensure each room goes together very quickly and provides a perfect and long lasting finish.

Surprisingly cost effective, as it cuts out the trail of tradesmen, the fixing, hanging, painting, finishing and all the damage & mess etc
How it works
For door sets just leave agreed openings for the doors in the block or studwork, render or board and skim as usual, completing all other works... including the decoration if you wish..! We then fit our pre-finished door sets with latches & handles, architraves, pediments and skirting, all pristinely pre-finished... with all joints seamed and no visible fixings to an unbelievable finish and result. Most Eye Joinery pre-finished items can be supplied and fitted as the door sets... after the builders... and even after the decorators, ‘eye’ produces ranges of decorative joinery... designed to stand out... making rooms so easy to furnish!

Welcome to Furnitureworks - The ultimate English bespoke furniture designer and manufacturer.
Based in Sussex England we specialize in many forms of furniture manufacturing, with emphasis on chairs and sofas, cabinet and table making. Our superb factory features a classic frame shop as well as a cabinet making department with the latest in CNC and classic equipment. Under the same roof we have polishing facility's and an upholstery shop. Our in house design studio features traditional full scale patterning as well as cad. We even have a massive full scale digital drawing board for tracing complex shapes directly into cad programs.
We are a trade only furniture manufacturer working in the background for furniture designers, interior designers and decorators, producing bespoke and exclusive designs that are often branded in the designers own name. Furnitureworks also manufacture for hotels, contract furnishers and specialist retailers. Our own products, a selection of which is shown on this site is probably the largest collection of chair and sofa designs in the world, with thousands of patterns in the Furnitureworks archive.
Other than items in the 'for sale' section of this site, we are strictly trade suppliers and do not sell directly to the public. Proof of trade status will be required before any pricing is prepared.
