Novomatic Gaming Spain S.A., the recently opened subsidiary of the Novomatic Holding Austria, celebrates the first major installation negotiated by its Barcelona sales and service hub. Casino Barcelona, part of the Spanish hotel, resort and casino group Grup Peralada, has chosen Novomatic gaming equipment to take the spotlight on the casino’s newly renovated and extended gaming floor.
Novomatic Gaming Spain S.A. was officially founded in January 2007 with headquarters in Madrid and was almost immediately strengthened with the opening of a sales and service facility in Barcelona. The company is an affiliate of the Novomatic-subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH.
The first step into the Spanish casinos of the new company is an agreement with Grup Peralada, a major hotel, resort and casino group. Through its flagship operation, Casino Barcelona, Grup Peralada operates the largest casino in Spain, as well as three further high class casinos. Casino Barcelona now celebrates a grand reopening after major investments in the renovation and modernization of this prestige operation. Casino Barcelona guests will now find a comprehensive Novo Multi-Roulette™ installa¬tion running on the server-based Novo Unity™ multi-player platform. FutureLogic, Inc., manufacturer of thermal ticket printers for cashless gaming, today announced the appointment of Alan Rea to the position of Vice President, Quality Assurance.
A Certified Master Six SigmaBlack Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor, Alan brings more than 20 years of quality management experience to FutureLogic. Working with both domestic and international operations, Alan has managed and implemented a wide variety of Quality Management Systems, including ISO-9001, ISO-13485, QS-9001, TS-16934, AS-9000, Mil-9858A, Design For Six Sigma (DFSS), Six Sigma Quality, as well as product transfer, test lab and supplier development programs. His background includes key management positions with Medtronic, Zebra Technologies, Eltron International, and Kodak (Datatape Corporation).

In winning the award for the ‘Best Exhibition Booth’ at the Peruvian Gaming Show Austrian Gaming Industries (AGI), the wholly owned subsidiary of Novomatic Holding Austria, underlined the company’s total commitment to its development and expansion not just in Peru but across the entire South American continent.
AGI is no newcomer to South American gaming. Its strong success over many years, particularly in Peru and Uruguay, is the springboard for a determined strategy to become a major force in what has become one of the global gaming industry’s hottest regions.
Exhibiting with its Peruvian affiliate Admiral Peru the AGI booth display was the biggest talking point of the three day show. Jens Einhaus, Sales Director AGI, expressed the company’s pride at what was achieved during the Lima based event: “Our purpose in exhibiting in Peru was to meet our customers and partners directly in their own marketplace. We were extremely impressed by the high level of visitors that we welcomed and their very positive reaction to the products that we showed. Customers not just from Peru but from across South America took the opportunity to see and test the latest Coolfire™ II games.
