Gaming Support announced today that it has reached a definitive Sales Agreement with Laurus Invest Hungary covering the supply of casino signage for Laurus's Monte Carlo electronic casino venue, which is scheduled to open in Budapest during the fourth quarter of this year. According to the terms of the agreement, Gaming Support will supply all custom signage within the property.

'We're very pleased to have reached this agreement with Laurus,' stated Nick Hogan, Gaming Support's Vice President of Sales and Business Development. 'Laurus has a solid track record of building the market's most impressive and sophisticated venues and we're very proud to be affiliated with its latest, cutting-edge project.'

'Following the launch of our Big Ben Club in Györ earlier this year, the Monte Carlo project represents Laurus's second phase of creating a premium segment within Hungary's electronic casino market,' stated Attila Török, Laurus's Managing Director. 'As with Big Ben, we are making sizeable investments in the venue's interior design, creating a memorable environment that will inspire awe, reinforce our brand and build customer loyalty. The venue's sign package will be an integral component of this strategy and Gaming Support's established history of providing world-class signage made it the obvious choice for this project.'

2007 has seen Innovative Technology Ltd (ITL) embark on an ambitious reorganisation of its manufacturing sites; make significant changes to the Group Board and invest in additional resource to grow the capability of the Research and Development department.

In May 2007, Aidan Towey was promoted to Managing Director responsible for the global Innovative Technology Group with R D Bellis, ITL founder, continuing as Chairman.

During his 12 years with ITL, Aidan has made an outstanding contribution to the success of the business and his ambitious plans for the coming years with an aim to take ITL to world leader status.

'Over the next 3 years I would like to see ITL become the number one manufacturer of bank note validators in the world, to do this we are increasing our range of products three-fold. We have doubled our development and research teams and created a new support team for both customers and manufacturing' said Aidan Towey, Managing Director.

Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed has been with ITL for 11 years, initially responsible for our Spanish Office, Mustapha has full responsibility for both sales and manufacturing in South America.

Mustapha has made a significant contribution to the complexities of transferring production to our facility in Brazil and remains focussed in this complex and challenging environment.

It has been a challenging year for the Board as we shift production to a third-party manufacturing site in China, retaining just product test capability and final assembly work at our factory and Head Office in Oldham, UK.

After joining ITL late 1998 as a newly qualified Electronics Graduate, Peter Dunlop fast tracked his career to become Development Director in 2005.

His 60-strong multi-talented team span the globe and Peter's extensive responsibilities include research, design and technical support for the Group.

Marcus Tiedt was our first employee in Germany 9 years ago and he very quickly established an important office for the Group based in Pinneberg, a short drive from Hamburg.

Marcus was instrumental in growing our German and Eastern European customer base and 2007 saw him promoted to Sales Director responsible for Sales and Marketing across the European and Australasian markets.

Alun Evans joined ITL in September 2007 as Financial Director; a qualified chartered accountant Alun joins us from outside of the industry with considerable experience in finding opportunities to grow SME businesses.

Autumn 2007 sees the launch of models BV20 and BV100 designed for amusement and vending markets and the AWP market for the BV100. The BV100 now has a lockable stacker and both models possess a range of new features including SPF technology and anti-strimming devices.

17/7/07 - Novomatic continues campaign against product piracy in Romania
The Novomatic Group of Companies presented a further spectacular campaign against pirate copies of its products; this time at the first edition of the Romanian trade show, 'Entertainment Arena'.

The 2nd day of the 'Entertainment Arena' in Bucharest saw a spectacular event: Novomatic held a special demonstration to officially declare the continuation of its war against product piracy. DI Ryszard Presch, Vice-President of the Board of Directors, Novomatic Holding, officially announced the launch of a campaign against any person or persons who infringe the company's intellectual property. In a spectacular demonstration, witnessed by customers and press representatives, Novomatic steamrollered pirate copies of its hardware components directly in the exhibition centre. The visual 'shock effect' of Novomatic's action left no one attending the event in any doubt whatsoever of the company's intention to act firmly and decisively against the 'product pirates'.

Novomatic, with headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen near Vienna, is internationally renowned for highly innovative gaming technology and state-of-the-art game design. The wholly owned subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH (AGI), responsible for R&D, production and distribution, invests high expenditure every year in research and development in order to continuously develop new products and designs. As a market leading and trend-setting producer AGI sells its highly popular products only to licensed casinos and arcades all over the world. Yet in Romania, where Novomatic is represented by its subsidiary SC Intertop srl., an increase in the number of pirate copies of Novomatic products has recently been observed.

Therefore the company decided to take measures to continue the campaign against pirate copies with the assistance of an internationally renowned law firm. 'We want to rectify the position of our original Novomatic products in the Romanian market and highlight the obvious strengths in terms of quality and reliability - and we will pursue all avenues in doing so', stated DI Ryszard Presch. 'The issue is not only the economic damage through lost business. Our primary aim is to prevent any damage to our customers caused by inferior and faulty copies. And we will do what is necessary to support our Romanian subsidiary in order to ensure a fair and well regulated competition in their home market.'

Adrian Georgescu, Managing Director SC Intertop srl., is pleased with the support from the Austrian holding: 'It is good to know that we have such strong backing from a respected concern like the Novomatic group. We have observed the situation here in Romania very closely and came to the conclusion that this demonstration was vital in order to make a statement which will not go unnoticed. We have registered a great demand for original Novomatic products in the Romanian market and we want to make sure that our customers clearly know the original from the copy. The great feedback we received here at our demonstration in Bucharest is very encouraging, and reassures us that the top quality and reliability of our original Novomatic products is highly valued in Romania.'

Bluechip Computer AG developed, manufactured and marketed, in conjunction with AgfaPhoto, the Agfa Image Box, an all in one PC solution complete with touch screen. These devices are used in specialised shops as digital order stations for all storage media and digital cameras.

In May 2005, Bluechip Computer AG added the self-service photo print solution PhotoKiosk to its portfolio. The new kiosk is a complete photo printing solution that can be installed as a self-service terminal in a wide range of locations. Alternatively, they can be burnt to CD.

To date, Bluechip Computer AG has manufactured 110 kiosks the majority of which are being installed in Marktkauf stores in a project that began in early 2007. The kiosk comprises a 15in touch screen, together with an input unit for digital media, a photo printer and a receipt printer. For the latter, Bluechip Computer AG selected the TSP600 thermal receipt printer from leading international POS printer manufacturer, Star Micronics.

The TSP600 thermal receipt printer was chosen for its long-term reliability, high-speed performance (100mm per second), two-colour output and 'Drop-in & Print' paper loading design.
