FutureLogic, Inc ., one of the leading manufacturer of thermal ticket printers for cashless gaming, announced today that they will exhibit their new GEN2 UniversalTM printers and the PromoNetTM coupon solution at ICE 2008, to be held in London on January 22-24. The GEN2 Universal ticket printers provide a migration path for downloadable games and support all current and emerging game types via one of three communication ports: RS232 (backward compatible), NetPlex (backward compatible), and USB 2.0 Full Speed (future GSA compliant, IGT compliant). The GEN2 Universal connection architecture is available in both the standard GEN2 Universal printer and the GEN2 VST Universal™ vertical format printer, which is designed specifically for use with space-saving slim-top machines and kiosk applications. All GEN2 Universal printers feature the ITH™ (Intelligent Ticket Handling) technology, which makes the "cashout ticket" available ONLY after the ticket is fully printed internally and automatically burst – to eliminate player interference and ensure a clear, crisp, readable image.
The new PromoNet™ promotional coupon system will help casinos design and manage a wide range of promotional campaigns from the convenience of a workstation PC, and can be used with any gaming machine that is equipped with FutureLogic’s popular GEN2 Universal printer. This secure system approach ensures that casino servers are in full control of all communication with the printers and cashout tickets, and offers casinos of any size a flexible and cost-effective promotional coupon solution. The PromoNet Campaign Management Tool will allow casino marketers to quickly create multiple graphic coupons, using a second color and a variety of font styles and sizes. Promotions can be customized to employ a wide range of triggers, including incentives, length of play, frequency of issue, wagering activity and other user-definable criteria.

Earlier this year, Money Controls appointed leading Czech distributor Jamp as its official distribution partner for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Since then the partnership has gone from strength to strength with record sales of Money Controls’ products in the region. Initially focussing on Ardac Elite, the top performing bill and ticket acceptor, Jamp is now the sole distributor for all of Money Controls’ comprehensive portfolio of products. And, such has been the interest from customers in the region, Jamp has appointed sales staff dealing solely with Money Controls’ products. They have also created a demonstration room in their headquarters in the Czech city of Karlovy Vary dedicated to the products. Miroslav Korica, Jamp’s Managing Director, is delighted with the success of the partnership: “From the outset, Money Controls and Jamp were perfect partners: Money Controls has the ideal products and support; Jamp has the ideal distribution network and technical back up. What’s more, we have now established an excellent working relationship between our two companies. Our increased focus on Money Controls’ products will open up yet more opportunities for us.” Jim Foster, Money Controls’ Technical Sales Manager EMEA, is equally pleased with the way the partnership has developed in such a short time: “I expected a settling-in period, as we each got to know each other and Jamp became familiar with our products. But, it was ‘all systems go’ from day one: Jamp’s staff were trained in all aspects of our products and have been able to provide outstanding technical sales support. With the new demonstration room they can showcase our products, and customers can see for themselves the quality for which Money Controls’ is renowned.“
