25 June 2008 BACTA pledge continued support of ATEI
Clarion Gaming and BACTA are to continue their exclusive partnership agreement which will see the UK trade association extend its long-standing support of ATEI.
In addition to providing new and important benefits to BACTA members, the partnership will see Clarion Gaming make a significant contribution to the BACTA Charitable Trust.
Karen Cooke, head of exhibitions at Clarion Gaming, explained: “ATEI is the jewel in the crown of the British coin-op business and I am delighted that we are continuing our partnership with BACTA. The partnership provides important tangible benefits to members of the association during what we appreciate are difficult times for the business. I am also pleased that we are able to support the fantastic work undertaken by the BACTA Charitable Trust.”
She added: “ATEI is the flagship event for the domestic coin-op industry and, in partnership with BACTA, we will be exploring how the show can be used to enhance the Association’s lobbying activities directed at politicians, opinion-formers and other influencers. We recognise that there has been a great deal of uncertainty in the industry recently and as always, every member of my team is committed to enhancing the show in conjunction with the industry.”

Great comma 6a success for Magic Dreams in Italy
The Italian company, well known on international casino scene, is having a great success on domestic market too, with the launch of new products comma 6a. “The Italian street market was in a stand-by position since several months and finally the government approval has come – explained general manager Luca Gerardini – We are now delivering machines for the hundreds orders received for Color Slot and our newest comma 6a machines.” Magic Dreams can be considered one of the leading companies of street market in Italy, with thousands of machines installed all over national territory. 13 June 2008 Customer event in Spain a great success for Atronic
Atronic hosted a special customer event for leading casino directors and slot managers on May 8 in Madrid, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to the Spanish gaming market.
Opened by Atronic’s CEO, Gerhard Burda, the event gave Atronic the opportunity to present its latest products developed for the Spanish market and to inform customers of the recent GTECH acquisition of the Atronic Group. Burda also assured the customers that Atronic is committed to retaining the great service already being provided in the market and will continue to provide exciting products to suit this growing market.
It was not all speeches though as attendees also had the chance to see and play some of the latest Atronic games and to win some typical Austrian delicacies and gift packages. Atronic’s Spanish Sales Agent, Javier Sevillano, said, “The event was a great success. A large majority of Spanish casino operators attended and all were very happy with the information provided to them. We received very good feedback about the support Atronic offers to Spain and our customers expect that we will continue keep up to date with the market and maintain our position by developing new products.”

12 June 2008 Atronic Systems' Chain Reaction goes live in Germany
Atronic Systems’ Chain Reaction™ went live for the Schleswig-Holstein Spielbanken group in their Flensburg casino in April.
Players at Casino Flensburg now have the chance to share in the winnings with Atronic Systems’ Chain Reaction™ Mystery Jackpot concept.
