The BV20 is one of the latest in the product range from the Innovative Technology Group and upholds their tradition of being exceptional value. The company has recently undergone some reorganisation in order to progress and develop, and these improvements have been carried through to the end products.
The BV20 bank note validator has the capability to accept notes in just 2 seconds and weighs just 0.3kg. The validator has a standard bezel design and two model sizes; 66mm or 72mm note width, all within compact dimensions of 110x98x58mm. Different options are available such as a low power mode option and a 110V option.
The BV20 has advanced mathematical validation algorithms allowing the validator to decipher varying currencies as well as the ability to make the distinction between authentic and imitation notes and possesses software design which allows for multiple interface protocols. The BV20 has both simple and advanced programming tools via a configuration card, PC or a handheld unit and there is a full listing of datasets available on the ITL website.
For ITL the customer is paramount, as they always have been. The BV20, like previous models, is designed with straightforward installation and basic maintenance in mind therefore giving the customer the reassurance that the BV20 is a trouble-free and dependable product. This simple, reliable and easy to use product has a fast and seamless note path meaning it has the ability to uphold an acceptance rate of typically 99.8% using a 32bit ARM7 processor and SPF technology. This technology provides the capability of fast validation and acceptance time, which presents the customer with the opportunity to accept notes in a shorter space of time.
The BV20 is ideal for use on amusement machines, kiddie rides, arcade games and vending such as hot and cold drinks.
The DA3 is a programming system designed to enable the programming of ITL Bank Note Validators in the field without the use of a PC.
Many dataset and firmware files for different validator models can be stored on the DA3.
Once the DA3 has been programmed, the user can:
• Update the existing software within a validator using the BNV Match Download Function. For example, a validator already programmed for UK notes can be updated with the latest available UK dataset automatically. All custom settings will remain the same i.e. the number of pulses set and the special interface within the validator will not be changed
• Overwrite the stored software within a validator with pre-selected (tagged) files using the BNV Override Download Function. For example, a validator programmed for UK notes with the Binary interface can be re-programmed for Euro with the SSP interface.
• Test the functionality of the validator away from the host machine.
There are also two memory card slots to enable simple reprogramming of the DA3 away from a PC.
