Born in 1993 from an idea of the present company sole director, the company has always worked in the market of loose components for computers, in 2001, due to the size it had reached, World Trade SpA turned from a simple limited liability company (Italian: Society; a Responsability; Limitata, SRL) into a corporation (Italian; per Azioni, SpA), finally year 2006 marked a turning point in company policy: the choice to focus its strengths and resources on one company core business, the market of Liquid Cristal Displays technology, the so called LCD, focusing on following sectors Gaming / Entertainment, Totem, Kiosks Information; Vending and Technology Industry.

NEW LINE i-WT OPEN FRAME
It couldn’t be slimmer than this…!!!
With the new open frame line, series i-WT, World Trade Spa sets a new trend in terms of design and functionality. LED backlight, aluminum back cover, a new IPS panel with the latest innovative technology, two HDMI connectors are just some of many interesting features. An innovative line, with a 21,5 “ and 23” 16:9 open frame, is a Full HD slim display addressed to demanding industrial and professional users and shows all its strength with games and kiosk applications.
2x HDMI and a fast response time for Full HD contents
The new line i-WT open frame has two HDMI connectors offering plenty of connection options for high definition sources especially for high speed games and action movies. The applications are all easily rendered thanks to a fast response time of each model of just five milliseconds.
Innovative IPS technology, high contrasts
This innovative line employs an IPS panel. This technology allows wider viewing angles up to 178° Degrees and brighter images compared to the TN traditional technology. Furthermore it ensures a realistic colors reproduction with a high colors stability. Thanks to these features the new open frame line is suitable for images editing and gaming. A high dynamic contrast ratio (50.000.000:1) ensures sharp and more defined images.
A record in dimensions and a simple bright style
A 9,6 mm profile is made possible by a metal frame, with ultra thin labels for plugging to the panel, giving a High Tech design to the front panel, while the mirror-like of the aluminum back cover gives to the i-WT series a professional look. The slim design of this new line with its metal style reproduces the classic industrial professional style.
Environment care: the innovative LED technology
Resource efficiency and Energy saving are the main goal of the i-WT new series production. Thanks to electricity saving technology due to the LED backlight – 25 watt tip./0,5 watt in standby mode – current environmental standards like ENERGY STAR, TCO and EPEAT too are fulfilled. This new open frame line is produced completely mercury-free. The user can individually select further energy saving options contributing to a even lower consumption. Packaging too has been conceived to meet ecological standards.

The rear open frame & touch monitor GeneralTouch are distributed in Europe by the World Trade SpA Company in Italy directly from its own two warehouse in Italy and Holland.
These specific models are designed for easy installation in all sectors where the basic assembled open frame screen is not sufficient.
If space is limited in the design phase, and yet high quality and reliability are required, especially if possible intentional damage or damage caused by harsh environmental conditions is an issue, the Touch Monitor assembled in "sealed chambers" is the ideal solution.
