Hopper AH4
The discriminator Hopper AH4 pays out up to 3 value coins: it allows those machines, preset for the standard single-coin HopperOne (or any other “universal” hopper), to pay out in three different denominations , without requiring any modification or adaptation whatsoever to the mechanical and wiring structure of the machine itself. A system of inductive sensors detects coins magnetic features, while coin diametre is acknowledged and counted by optical detectors and encoder.
It holds back the small value coins, so as to be able to always top up the pay-out (Smart Pick System) fast and completely. The Discriminator Hopper AH4 is endowed with built-in sensor-dirt drainage system, anti-blaze security device, and anti-jam and auto-release mechanism. It works by cctalk protocol, and is available in the two usual versions: standard (plug and coin outlet opposite) or reverse (plug at same side as coin outlet).
Hammer2 CC1 and Hammer1 CC3 Cross-Changers
Alberici has introduced the new Money Changing machines, capable to change banknotes into coins as well as coins into banknotes.
The HAMMER2 CC1 and the HAMMER1 CC3 match capacity to elegance; they make use of the inserted banknotes and coins to automatically refill the pay-out containers, so as to cut down the costly service calls for replenishing. Pushbuttons with CCTalk
Alberici SpA is known worldwide for designing and manufacturing cash peripheral units (i.e. electronic coin selectors, sorters, hoppers) and high quality illuminated pushbuttons.
The latter have been thoroughly renovated in design, and updated to exceed the most recent trends in the industry. Their modern design matches with new operating modes, and with versatile solutions in assembly and communication.
All of the pushbuttons can of course be mounted on the deck by nut and thread, as per established tradition. In addition, though, a number of lines are designed so as to allow installation by a handy and quick clip-in system. The electrical core of each pushbutton connects to the machine harness either through one and only multi-pin socket; or, for Customers who prefer or need the classic way, it connects through the usual fast-on pins.
One of the series features a brilliant “double halo” effect (patent pending): not only the light glows along the outer bezel profile (as usual with the “Halo” pushbuttons), it glows around the pushbutton lens as well. The outcome looks so neatly achieved, that this “Twin Halo” design has been patented.
Light is produced by high brilliance 12V L.e.d. or light bulb, and reflected by special poly-carbonate lenses, so treated as to enhance brightness. The pushbuttons with electronic multi-pin socket can house one or two different L.e.d.s, either same colour or, if preferred, one of them white and the other one blue. Each of these L.e.d.s can be directly controlled by the gaming board, to produce smart on-off combinations of white-blue light patterns according to the different game steps; or they can be controlled by the same interface, to the purpose of attracting players when the machine is in stand-by mode.
To this purpose, a ccTalk interface is available to power such light patterns; at the same time, though, it allows the gaming board itself to control the L.e.d.s by simple ccTalk commands.
The ccTalk interface cleanly brings together all the pushbuttons harnesses in one single cctalk bus cable. Moreover, it hosts additional sockets for the coin acceptor and hoppers, which allows the Manufacturers to achieve much cleaner wiring and effective savings in production costs. There is always evident added value in products by Alberici S.p.A.!
A similar interface is available to connect the electronic pushbuttons to the standard socket in the gameboard, while driving independently the L.e.d.s light patterns.

L.E.M. (Led Emitting Module)
These horizontal signpost toppers bring together the typical functions of the traditional signpost Towers in one single frame. In fact, it can be used both as a light beacon to attract players; and, it can be used as a three-function pilot light to warn about the state of the machine (i.e. stand-by, game in progress, winning stroke, service required, and so on).
It is made up of a three-window chassis; each window contains one light sourse. Both the chassis and the window lenses are moulded in heat-resistant polymers.
The chassis is available in black, or chrome, or white colour. The lenses can be provided clear, or white, or blue, combining with the chassis to offer many cromatic solutions.
The lenses can be provided in three different colours, i.e. green, yellow and red, each of which can relate to different operation or service conditions. Intense light is produced by SMD-technology bright 500mW/15cd LEDs.
The unit works by 12Vdc, and can be either connected to the Alberici RGB Multi-colour Toppers, in which case they will be blinking with the same patterns as the Topper Lights do, or it can be connected to the machine board, that will then control the light(s) in the LEM and the relevant flashing pattern.
The ALBERICI new L.E.M. matches all the Shuttle Topper Lights, and ideally the Multi-Colour (RGB) Led models.
HopperCD MultiCounter with CD2 sorter
This new multi-coin HopperCD pays by different value coins, and gets coupled to a side single-coin HopperCD that tops up the small change. This combination saves space inside the cabinets and cuts off costs.
When the HopperCD Multi Counter is endowed with its CD2 sorter, it offers further important advantages. In fact, the CD2 sorter automatically drives the small change coins into the side HopperCD: therefore this system is always capable to top up payments, and never stop because of time-outs as it uses to happen with standard discriminators. The User always gets his change quickly, and the Operator needs not worrying about checking for non-paid change and about frequent refilling. The interesting result is that service costs for disruptions and refilling get chopped down. In addition to that, the HopperCD Multi Counter can be surcharged with large amounts of coins and it will still operate smoothly, for it is equipped with the same anti-jamming devices, dirt-drainage design and anti-fraud systems that make all the HopperCD models reliable, secure and solid.
HOPPERCD MULTI COUNTER
Lots of visitors of the IGE Show have been keenly attending the Alberici stand, where the multi-coin HOPPERCD MULTI COUNTER has been the most attracting item.
This hopper pays out up to 6 coin types, and must work in conjunction with one back-up HopperCD. It allows to spare 1 additional hopper when payments are required in 3 different coin values, or sparing 2 when payments are required in 4 coin values, and so on sparing up to 4 additional hoppers.
It operates by ccTalk serial protocol, 24Vdc power supply, and is available as Midi (550 coins capacity), or Maxi (1000 coins capacity).
Coins must be 20-26,5 mm wide and 1,7-2,6 mm thick. Each coin gets acknowledged by combining the data from the output sensors and from the built-in optical encoder.
The HOPPERCD MULTICOUNTER transmits to the control board the coin value of each coin as it gets paid out. It must be paired with one back-up single-coin HopperCD, dedicated to top up the remaining payout amount. The two hoppers can be placed side by side, and the outer one will host the useful Alberici two-fold coin chute.
The compact MULTI COUNTER solution puts together the advantages of speed, reliability, long operating life and security typical of the well-known single-coin versions with the efficient anti-blocking, anti-dirt and anti-cheat devices featuring the product and making its main strength and attracting points to the customers.
PULSA Illuminated Pushbuttons
The new PULSA-352 illuminated pushbuttons show a sophisticated and exclusive design. They are manufactured with the highest quality raw materials and components. Supple lines and rounded surfaces shape the outer frame, and spread a sensation of softness and elegance. This exclusive design ha been patented.
The pushbuttons in the range can be requested in different combinations. The outer frame is available in chrome, golden, black or grey colour. Two embedded crescent decorate respectively the upper and lower side of the frame: again they can be chosen chrome, blue, transparent, black or grey. Especially when back-lighted by LEDS, such crescents create attracting glittering combinations with the frame and with the coloured core. The light-refraction system makes use of a triple-reflection prism, that has been patented too.
The well-known Alberici twist-on coupling is obviously part of the new range of pushbutton: it provides the necessary tightness as well as making mount and dismount fast when assembling or servicing the machine.
SHUTTLE Topper Light
SHUTTLE Topper Lights are available in four versions: with chrome-plated framing dotted by white or blue LEDs, or with black front framing dotted by white or blue LEDs.
SHUTTLE Topper Lights can be mounted on machine domes (r=441 mm or r=222 mm) or on flat shelves, by the adapter wedges provided. Above all, the fast and robust clip-on support system allows the Shuttle Topper Light to get easily fitted or removed from the machine top; such solid modular solution is very useful in many cases, for instance in making transport operations easier.
Each of the 32 high intensity LEDs is protected by its own separate cap, that provides optimal diffusion of the light rays. The ever-changing lighting sequence switches among 14 different LED patterns every 90 sec., calling for immediate attention.
Two intensity levels are provided, to adapt to specific environment light conditions . The LEDs are PWM current-driven; such feature extends their long-lasting lifetime and provides great flexibility in light intensity control.
As an option, lights can be switched off for 15 sec. when the game gets started, so as not to divert the player from the game itself.
The central back-lighted surface can be used for advertisements or other communication messages, and can be easily and smartly self-customized: just slip your printed graphics (i.e. serigraphy, or glossy paper-sheet) between the two preset acrylic glasses. The topper shells can be disassembled and re-assembled very easily, which makes it simple and quick to replace the advert.
Hammer One Cross Change
The HAMMER ONE CC can CROSS-CHANGE banknotes into coins and coins into banknotes. Very slim, it fits in all environments and makes the change into banknotes independent from the presence of the operator. It also makes use of the coins dropped in to re-fill the hoppers, so avoiding frequent maintenance actions.
The other new models HAMMER ONE D, HAMMER ONE CD2, HAMMER ONE D2 are capable of changing banknotes into up to three different coin values.

Illuminated metal entry slots
Other brand new items to be seen are the illuminated metal entry slots. Their round-shaped outer body is made of zinc-aluminium alloy. The inner core incorporates the polycarbonate coin entry path: it is highly resistant to splintering and does not tarnish.
The coin entry path conveys a series of interwoven and multi-sequenced light effects: players will be fascinated by the glittering lights flashing out from the entry track. Various models, with proper slant for different assembly conditions, are available. Customers can also choose their introduction to be chrome plated or gold-like plated.
New range of change machines
Alberici S.p.a. launches its new range of change machines: HAMMER 1 and HAMMER 2, HIRA 1, HIRA CD and HIRA D. Their elegant and solid design has been shaped so as to stand side-by-side with the gaming machines. The components are the reliable Alberici ChangeOne control board, various types of Hoppers and the Taiko (JCM) bill acceptor. They can be provided with or without Alberici coin selectors. All models operate in ccTalk mode, the serial communication protocol that guarantees highest precision and security against fraud attempts. The different models and capacities (up to 7200 coins) allow various combinations, to cover any possible needs of the gaming halls.
New Coin Entry With Lights
There are of course several metal entry slots in the market already, but this one must be seen in operation to understand the difference! As a matter of fact, verbal descriptions or pictures can not reproduce the gleaming effect of its visual impact. The soft and round-shaped lines, enhanced by the bright glows of the chrome-plating, point to the most recent trends in industrial design. The inner core includes the coin entry slot, and is made of polycarbonate: such polymer is highly resistant to splintering and does not tarnish, which prevents the first cause of wear and tear of the existing entry slots. The outer body, inclined 20°, is made of ZAMA alloy (zinc, aluminium, copper and magnesium), and is chrome-plated. The coin groove conveys a series of interwoven light effects. The microprocessor-controlled mini-board serves a set of L.e.d.s. so located as to emit multi-shaped sequences of colour combinations.
Disk Hopper CD Maxi
The disk Hopper CD Maxi, the compact solution that blends speed, reliability, capacity, low cost and security. Its universal coin disk can handle an output speed up to 280 coins/min. It can contain up to 1000 tokens (d. 24 mm) or 900 one-Euro coins. Two Hopper CD can be linked side-by-side (cascade assembly), so as to pay out two different coin types or to double the amount of similar coins contained. One commercial 10-pin socket allows connection for serial ccTalk or standard parallel. The black prism device shields the optics counting sensor from cheating attempts; the sensor is also kept tidy by an exclusive built-in cleaning system. Reliability stands also upon the efficient anti-jamming system and the auto-release servocontrol, as well as on the top-quality building materials and components.
AL66 and AL55
The AL66 and AL55 electronic coin selectors have been specifically designed for the serial ccTalk protocol, and are equally accomplishing when operating in any of the many available standard modes. They make use of an 8-bit top-performing microcontroller with 36 KB Flash-memory, developed for the Automotive field; as a result, it offers high immunity against magnetic interference and unfavourable environmental conditions. The operation of the 3 magnetic sensors combined with the gauging optic detectors guarantees that the parameters measurements are highly accurate. The new data-digitizer interface has been designed to cope at best with bi-metal and magnetized coins. Such innovations have increased discrimination and security, and have made the programming process easy and faster. AD5 Coin selector 5¼ Inch Adapter
The new Alberici AD5 Adapter allows the 3? ½ acceptors to be installed instead of the 5? ¼ ones. It can house one coin selector with upper entry and front reject slot, provided with upper reject lever: the perfect choice is AL05 K or AL06 K with upper reject lever. The coin selector clips in by simply pulling the adapter retain lid. Following the renown Alberici tradition of versatility, six versions are available. Apart from the basic version, one version features the built-in 3 way sorter, and a third one features the built-in 5 way sorter. Each of the three versions can house the Alberici remote reject kit, essential when the coin selector is located far from the coins entry slot. CCTalk HopperOnes - Light Version
1946 ? 2006: Alberici S.p.A. celebrate next month of October their Sixtieth Anniversary. Established by Augusto Alberici as a small and dynamic enterprise, the Company has developed on its Customers' satisfaction. Technological research and commitment to quality have constituted the pulling engine of Alberici's constant growth. Nowadays the Company is lead by Mr. Augusto's son Fabrizio who, with the assistance of his specialized staff, has brought the Company to reach a position of leadership in the field of cashing systems and components for coin-op machines. A precious aid has been and still is the experienced advice of the founder, always active in office. A very significant example of innovation in tradition is the new special ?Light? version of the traditional ccTalk HopperOnes. The new ccTalk HopperOne Light hooks on a sturdy polycarbonate plate; a soft-touch lid releases the hook and allows the hopper to slide smoothly along the plate. It makes use of a commercial 2x5 connector, instead of the traditional pins-to-solder connector, and builds it into the chassis together with the dip-switches row. This features make the assembling faster; moreover they eliminate lots of well-known sources of faults, therefore wiping off servicing costs. The Time-Box units allow to purchase time-based service: they are efficient and simple to deal with. HOPPER KID
Brand new kid among the world renown Alberici's Hoppers, the small version HopperKid is belt driven, sturdy, noiseless, and accurate as its senior HopperOne. Handy and fitting into tight space: 212 (height) x 200 (depth) x 126 (width). Accepts any type of coin Φ17-31 mm. Contains 800 coins (diam. 24 mm), much more than disk hoppers do. Anti-jamming system. Auto-release servo-control. Anti-blazing prism shield. Available Cctalk or Standard mode, 12 Vdc or 24 Vdc motors, front access or opposite access.
CHANGE ONE Control Board
ChangeOne is a small (152 x 64 x 42mm) though powerful p.c.b. with built-in LCD display, able to drive simple Money Changer machines as well as complex Cash-and-tokens dispenser systems. Easily programmed through its user-friendly menu. The board can control up to 8 hoppers, one electronic coin selector, one relay for light or sound alarm, one ccTalk (or Standard) bill validator. The Advanced version can be connected to keypad and to thermal printer. Multi-level Bonus and Happy Hour programming. Accounts control. The ChangeOne p.c.b. is a smart build-in for all existing and to-be-designed machines.
Electronic Motor Vending

Alberici Cashless System
The new ALBERICI CASHLESS SYSTEM (ACS) avails of MIFARE technology, an electronic system of coding which grant security and reliability in the transmission as well as in the management of the transactions. Through the use of keys, cards and electronic tokens, is ideally suited for amusement, vending and service machines without the use of cash. Easy and speedy to mount, the key reader transponder (a radio frequency identification which is able to transmit and receive data without the need for electric contacts) has been realized in order to grant the total water-resistance (i.e. for the car wash equipment) avoiding the problem of infiltration and the following damage of the board or led. The ACS is available in MDB and Parallel versions.
