Suzo International Celebrates Elixir Success in Hungary.

Elixir ShufflePro chosen by Poker Master

Suzo International is pleased to report that the leading poker table manufacturer in Hungary – PM Europe Ltd – has integrated Elixir’s ShufflePro into its design. PM Europe Ltd is better known as Poker-Master. The company headed by Andras Marton was quickly convinced of both Elixir’s product performance and Suzo International’s service capabilities.

Poker Master was set up in 2007 and manufactures poker tables. Poker Master has quickly set up strong sales in both Hungary and Romania. First contacts with Suzo International were only in April of this year. The visit to Hungary by Suzo International was reciprocated by Poker Master shortly afterwards in order to gain extensive technical training by Suzo’s casino technical manager Marc Martens.

Suzo International’s Joost van Egeraat comments on the success, “We gained the European rights for Elixir products barely a year ago and so we have been very busy introducing the Elixir range to the European casino market. Poker Master is a young and innovative company and embraced the opportunity to trial the Elixir ShufflePro. The excellent results quickly convinced Poker Master. We place much emphasis on our sales and technical service. We are very pleased to be able to cite Poker Master as a customer for Elixir’s ShufflePro”.

Andras Marton, Managing Director of Poker Master, explains his choice, “It did not take us long to make our decision. Comestero Group: Enada Rome an international success.

An important international exhibition where new ideas in the Amusement sector were presented. But also an essential appointment to meet visitors and potential customers as reliable partners and leaders in technological development. This is what Enada Rome 2008 meant for Comestero Group.

In a new modern stand, where technological metallic colours were mixed with warm passionate shades, Comestero Group chose to show off the best of their payment systems and money control. The range varied from the kit designed for Italian newslot2 (complete with coin validator, smart coin sorter and hoppers) to banknote readers with integrated stackers,and also accessories for gaming machines.
The unquestionable protagonist of the stand was however the complete range of change machines; more than 12 different models available in numerous versions which are differentiated by: coin capacity, payment systems, mounting and installation, reference value and power supply.  Reliability is the strong point of Comestero Group’s change machines, demonstrated by the continual increase in numbers: more than 40,000 change machines used in 30 different countries in the world, 10,000 of which produced and distributed in 2007.

From consolidated articles to new ideas. Comestero Group dedicated a large area to the presentation of the project of the new change machine ADHOC. As the name indicates, the change machine ADHOC can be made-to-measure as a base for any Italian Slot model. Part of the Comestero Group’s strategy has always been to work continuously alongside the customer. With this new project this commitment has been enforced by co-operating with other manufacturers specialized in Slot production combining their own experience and competence in the production of change machines.

Performance in movement

A special area of the stand was dedicated to the presentation of the whole range of solutions for coin and banknote counting. One of the numerous models was the coin counter/sorter BRAVA4, ideal to count large quantities of coins. Furthermore two more models which couldn’t be forgotten: the counter/sorter 401, high quality reliability greatly appreciated by Amusement operators, and the new banknote counter C-920SM equipped with sophisticated anti-counterfeit control systems which allowed it to pass the European Central Bank test. Compact and safe,both machines can be easily transportable and give the possibility to carry out all counting operations on site.

Elaut appoints new product manager.

ELAUT NV has appointed Paul Heuvelmans to the newly created position of Product Manager. Reporting directly to Eric Verstraeten,CEO, Paul will support and guide the company’s R&D department.

Paul’s main task will be highlighting new technologies and integrate these within Elaut’s full range of products. Bringing market focused issues to developments attention in order for Elaut to present products suitable for any market.

Paul brings extensive knowledge and experience to the role, with over 22 years in the gaming and amusement industry. His most recent position held was at the Janshen & Hahnraths Group who is known as the largest arcade operator in the Netherlands as well operator of single sites and wholesales. Both Nationally and Internationally, Paul was in charge of development for suitable products.

“Paul brings a wealth of experience to our company. His technical know-how and commitment to our industry will strengthen Elaut’s position.” Says CEO, Eric Verstraeten.

funworld goes Internet!

Innovative products and new online concepts inspire international partners

One of the highest mountains in the Austrian Alps – the Feuerkogel – was the spectacular venue for the funworld Distributor Meeting in September. Partners from around the world responded to the funworld invitation and spent two unforgettable days at a height of 1625 m above sea level and overlooking the broad waters of the Traunsee Alpine lake in the idyllic Salzkammergut.

The agenda for the meeting was “funworld goes Internet”. A combination of a colourful presentation and pure experience in a familiar atmosphere was the springboard for informing international partners about a big crop of innovations. In the course of the meeting the multiple-product company that has re-positioned itself since the start of this year presented not only its entire product range, including all new and further developments, but it also showed the new Internet presentation in umbrella brand design together with the online marketing tool Google Ads that has so far not been widely utilised by the industry.

“We are strengthening our activities in Internet, because we want to revive the gaming machines sector that has slid into the shadow by modernising it and bringing it inline with the spirit of our times. Our Internet offensive extends through all our product groups, and this is because linking them to the fastest growing and most significant medium is an elementary step for the success of each separate product. The big entrance Internet has made is creating an attractive additional benefit while generating clear preferences among clear target groups”, Josef Öhlinger, CEO of funworld ag said.

PHOTO PLAY with Yetisports and embedded Internet
The focus of constructive discussion of PHOTO PLAY was the new update 2009 with the four Yetisports games, because funworld has for the first time now succeeded in bringing this successful game series out of Internet and optimized onto the touchscreen. Yetisports games can thus only be played exclusively with PHOTO PLAY in the gaming machines sector.

The new PHOTO PLAY application “Embedded Internet” also impressed the distributors, because it makes external Internet contents accessible on the PHOTO PLAY terminals on a country-specific basis. In Germany this already comprises three different contents, with own access to the DSAB darts league, to You Tube and sport betting.

NEW: Touch Toy Online plus Touch DJ
Partners showed much interest in the children’s terminal Touch Toy, now also available with online networking. The new music jukebox Touch DJ proved to be a big attraction too; this plays music titles and videos in the highest quality and can be readily updated.

Innovative products for the sports betting industry

A further meeting highlight was the presentation of BET-solutions, the new funworld betting unit that has now made the company into a complete technological provider for sports betting since January. The products touch2win II, fun-station and BET-Shop attracted enormous interest.

The guests were not only busy with the meeting agenda up in their Alpine retreat, they also enjoyed the wonderful panorama view of the Feuerkogel peak already powdered with early snow and enjoyed unique Alpine experiences. A cable car trip high into the mountains took the astonished guests to a laughter filled reception given by Yeti and the penguins. A torchlight walk gave everyone a chance to experience something of a unique atmosphere in a different perspective and to tank up on fresh energy at the same time.

A great relaxed atmosphere was enjoyed in a mountain chalet evening with hearty refreshments, music at the log fire and an amusing human “slot machine” appearance. The Distributor Meeting for 2008 was rounded of with numerous great little details bringing memorable moments such as an Alphorn blower waking the guests in the morning, and flying lampions with the message “funworld goes Internet” for the partners to take back to their distant homelands.

Not only because so many of our partners came great distances to join us, but above all because we have once again been able to convince our guests and generate their total enthusiasm for our philosophy.
