New Photobooth Line for Special Events and Meetings

Meeting planners, party suppliers, and event locations can now add the fun, spontaneous experience of a photobooth to parties, gatherings, and corporate events of any size
 
Fantasy Entertainment, the largest owner/operator of electronic self-service photo imaging systems in North America, has announced immediate availability of its “Vintage” photobooth -  the first in a new line of photo booths designed exclusively with the specific needs of the special events and meetings industry in mind. This new product will be introduced and on display at “The Special Event” Conference and Tradeshow in Atlanta, GA from January 16-18, 2008.

“Our Vintage photobooth represents a new and profitable service offering that makes photobooth fun an ideal addition to any special event or occasion – corporate events, weddings, graduations, bar mitzvahs, and birthday parties,” says Casey Cammann, Fantasy Entertainment’s Vice President of Business Development.

According to Cammann, the concept of the photobooth as a rental item is being reconsidered now that the right combination of product, price, and features is available. “Our Vintage booth has been designed with a nostalgic look and feel that will be a big hit with guests while delivering a unique photo memento. Also, its unique modular collapsible design reduces transportation costs and shortens setup and teardown time for operators.”

In addition, Fantasy Entertainment will make selections from its extensive graphics library available to be customized through an exclusive web-based graphics editor. “Now, customers will be able to personalize our Foto Fun® Strips themselves for every special event,” says Cammann. “They can select stock graphics from our library based on the event theme, and even upload their own business logo if they choose. Then, add personalized text and download their custom graphics to a USB flash memory drive for easy importing into our photobooth.”

“The wedding industry is an especially exciting market,” says Cammann. “Not only do wedding guests enjoy the fun, spontaneous photobooth experience, but the resulting photos can be used by booth operators to create unique, value-added items like photo albums for the wedding couple, as well as scrapbooks, digital slideshows, and photo party favors to commemorate the occasion.”

New Self-Service Betting and Payment Terminals at ICE

BetXTech, a niche focused software development and system integration firm, has announced it will be making its debut International Casino Exhibition (ICE) appearance, to showcase their No-Risk, Self-Service Sports Betting kiosk terminals, as well as its newly developed casino slot ticket redemption solution, an IGT EZ Pay integrated Voucher Redemption Terminal (VRT).

 BetXTech has been in the business of developing betting software the past 3 years, and has concentrated a large part of its efforts on delivering no-risk, retail-based solutions to betting shops and casinos. The company initially launched their flag-ship commercial Sportsbook product, the XSS-EPOS betting terminal, at the 2006 Betting Show in Birmingham, UK. The company has justseveral licensed betting operations throughout the UK and Ireland, with significant results.

Because of BetXTech’s electronic point of sale (EPOS) software and hardware integration expertise, the company was approached by leading casino operator, Regency International, to develop a bespoke slot ticket redemption terminal that would support cashless slot machine gaming (TITO – Ticket In Ticket Out) at Regency's newly established Romania based casino. Regency’s slot machines are equipped with Future Logic GEN2 printers, and BetXTech’s XSS-VRT terminals will be capable of processing the slot ticket jackpot vouchers through the IGT EZ-Pay system using JCM American Corporation UBA Series validator and a high volume cash dispenser, featuring hefty 3000 note capacity cassettes with four different currency denominations. The VRT solution is to be delivered to Regency International beginning of Q1 2008.

The boutique firm made the decision to become an exhibitor in this year’s ICE show in order to seek out strategic partners interested in distributing the company’s self-service sports betting and voucher redemption terminals to casinos. “Our decision to attend ICE 2008 this year as an exhibitor will surely prove to be one of the company’s major decisions leading to future business. We feel a good number of established casino suppliers will take an interest in our innovative and cost effective solutions as complimentary offerings to their existing portfolio”, says Melcom Copeland, a Director of BetXTech.

The BetXTech website has been recently redesigned in order to better introduce their No-Risk betting solutions, as well as feature recent client deployments and case studies following the completion of 1-year commercial trials of their Sports Betting Kiosk terminals in UK and Ireland.

The ATEI International Casino Exhibition will take place at Earls Court, London during 22 – 24 January 2008. BetXTech will be showcasing its solutions at ICE STAND #3032.

Hold Your Breath for GTI Asia Taipei Expo 2008 in May
