SHUTTLE Topper Lights are available in four versions: with chrome-plated framing dotted by white or blue LEDs, or with black front framing dotted by white or blue LEDs.
SHUTTLE Topper Lights can be mounted on machine domes (r=441 mm or r=222 mm) or on flat shelves, by the adapter wedges provided. Above all, the fast and robust clip-on support system allows the Shuttle Topper Light to get easily fitted or removed from the machine top; such solid modular solution is very useful in many cases, for instance in making transport operations easier.
Each of the 32 high intensity LEDs is protected by its own separate cap, that provides optimal diffusion of the light rays. The ever-changing lighting sequence switches among 14 different LED patterns every 90 sec., calling for immediate attention. Two intensity levels are provided, to adapt to specific environment light conditions . The LEDs are PWM current-driven; such feature extends their long-lasting lifetime and provides great flexibility in light intensity control. As an option, lights can be switched off for 15 sec. when the game gets started, so as not to divert the player from the game itself.
The central back-lighted surface can be used for advertisements or other communication messages, and can be easily and smartly self-customized: just slip your printed graphics (i.e. serigraphy, or glossy paper-sheet) between the two preset acrylic glasses. The topper shells can be disassembled and re-assembled very easily, which makes it simple and quick to replace the advert.
One worrying impact of the growth of digital signage and digital out-of-home media is the environmental cost from the ever increasing power requirement. Though new technologies are appearing which will reduce power consumption across digital displays - the daylight readable, large format signs being implemented around the globe remain veritable power guzzlers (particularly when compared to the posters they are replacing - Although when one takes into account the energy needed to produce the paper, distribute it and then remove or replace and then recycle, the difference is not as great as sometimes cited.
However for the socially responsible property or shopping mall owner looking to enhance its revenue and consumer experience with digital signage - there is a 'green option'. UK based Display Technology Ltd. Is offering the new Albra and Brilan products that using the latest technology can reduce power significantly to give a much more environmentally product than say a Plasma panel to help also with the Carbon Footprint! But it is not purely altruistic as Display Technology estimates it can save you up to Euros 481 per year in power consumption per panel per year. So there is a significant cost saving also, which is sometimes forgotten.
Please see the attached brochure with calculations for comparisons with a Plasma screen which one sees very frequently in retail, Digital Signage and other applications. The results are amazing and should be the final ‘nail in the coffin’ of the Plasma technology.
Display Technology introduces a new professional product for video wall and split screen applications, utilising Samsung's latest narrow bezel high brightness / contrast D.I.D (Digital Information Displays) technology. The split screen products offer 40", 46", and 57" LCD TFT displays with narrow bezel connectors for very small gaps between monitors, and sunlight readability that enables the viewer to see the content clearly even in bright sunlight with 700cd/sq m brightness, contrast of 1200::1, and resolutions of 1366x768 pixels (40" and 46" modules or 1920 x 1080 full HD (57" module).
The narrow bezel sunlight readable model is billed as the most innovative LCD module for video walls with an ultra-thin frame and anti-reflection screen available today!
Display technology has many projects now running since the recent launch, including control rooms, security centers, retail outlets, sports bars, technology colleges, casinos, airports, Factories, railways/ bus stations, Digital Signage and traffic control centers to name but a few,
The new narrow bezel technology has made video walls acceptable now to many applications with a bezel width of only 15mm.
The displays are designed to be modular with an almost unlimited number of displays being combined in a single large video wall, and features easy to use loop-though function, internal split / tiling control, and picture-in-picture (PIP).
The system is available with a stacking frame that allows quick and easy mounting, enabling the user to build high performance video walls in almost any location, and very quickly.
Display technology also believe they are offering the lowest cost LCD TFT narrow bezel video wall solution as it designs and manufactures its own interface solution and is a direct OEM distributor for Samsung Semiconductor.
