The sun beats down into the arena, the dust settles and the crowd becomes silent. Helios tension is obvious. On the other side Avatar, the destroyer...watching...waiting for his chance to strike.
Creating the feel of realistic shooting is also what Skiller is all about. This shooting game has soft air devices that hit targets in at least one locale that appears to be in a real shooting range. It fires real pellets at physical targets using air rifles. It is real shooting, complete with recoil. It is a one-to-one scale just as it would be at a rifle range. The units are fitted with sensors. Players wear goggles and you cannot shoot outside of the angles which would give you a clear shot at the target. Skiller is a one-player game but is best used in multiple units. With approximately one meter per player and a range of 8m or 10m, a Skiller will fit into a larger arcade and certainly within an FEC. The unit is coin-operated and has automatic scoring through a monitor.
Junior Dreamshooter Basketball (pictured) gets its first showing at Preview. It is a child's version of the classic basketball game that has been an enduring favourite with Harry Levy's customers. Children are encouraged to throw as many balls as possible into the hoop and bonus rounds are awarded if targets are met. Housed in a bright, attractive cabinet.
