X210A Mobile Gaming Terminal
X2 Computing, one of the UK’s fastest growing providers of hardware to the handheld gaming market, has launched the X210A, a new mobile gaming device that provides up to 20 hours operation from a single battery charge. With a large 10.1” screen, it has been designed to enable multiple gaming content, including Bingo, Keno, Slots and Sports Book, to be played simultaneously and deliver reliable and resilient performance around the clock. A range of food and beverage applications can also be installed enabling customers to ‘stay in play’ for longer periods.
The X210A mobile gaming terminal uses ARM11 processor with up to 32GB SSD storage and is compatible with all major embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows Embedded 7, Linux and Android. With exceptionally low power consumption, up to 20 hours of play is possible from a single battery charge whilst the three point resistive multi-touch screen and built-in gyro enable multiple games to be played in landscape or portrait mode according to user preference.
The latest 802.11n Wi-Fi technology gives quick and easy access to video-rich, cloud-based gaming content where permitted by gaming regulations. The X210A is also compatible with RFID, indoor GPS and Wi-Fi triangulation which can be used to prevent access to gaming content outside authorised areas whilst allowing food and beverage, concierge and valet parking services to operate through the venue. A range of easy customer payment options are also available including smartcards and NFC.
ChargeCRATE
X2 Computing, one of the UK’s fastest growing providers of hardware to the handheld gaming market, has developed ChargeCRATE, an innovative new portable charging solution for the new generation of tablet computer-based gaming devices. It simultaneously charges up to 10 units enabling operators to ensure that the gaming devices are always ready to play, helping to maximise revenues.
ChargeCRATE is easy to use and eliminates the need to individually connect charging cables to multiple gaming devices which positively dock into this unique charging solution. Charging can be programmed to start at predetermined times and LED status indicators show the battery charge status of each device whilst a built-in cooling fan with integral digital thermal monitoring maintains optimum operating temperatures. Constructed using rigid fire retardant polyethylene, it can be installed in any indoor location and stacked up to five units horizontally or two units vertically to make best use of available floorspace.

The X210GM is the first commercially available tablet computer to
provide a three point resistive multi-touch screen for gaming
applications with options for capacitive, standard and lensed models.
This enables multiple games to be played simultaneously on a single
device to deliver significant additional revenues to gaming
operators.The X210GM is based on the Intel® Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
and is compatible with a range of operating systems including Windows®
7, Windows® 7 Embedded and Windows 7 compact (CE), which makes it easier
to control content management and software updates across multiple
locations. It has a robust, ruggedised casing, integrated handle and
variable position kick stand witha 10.1” three point multi-touch screen
