Ticket2Go™ – The Intelligent Ticket-Out Solution for ALL AWP Games

Ticket2Go is the latest innovation by FutureLogic, designed and developed for small AWP operations such as pubs, bars, restaurants, service stations and small gaming arcades. Ticket2Go is a ticket-out solution which works on all AWP machines – both analogue and digital – that support the ccTalk hopper protocol. Whereas most comparable systems only work with digital platforms, Ticket2Go can also be deployed on the huge number of legacy machines that are still in operation in the UK today.

Higher cash prizes have led to hopper starvation resulting in increased number of refills and machine downtime. More staff interventions became necessary to ensure game uptime and adequate revenues. With the arrival of Ticket2Go, hopper starvation belongs to the past, machine uptime is guaranteed and less staff interventions are required whilst maximizing game revenues and decreasing operational costs.

The heart of the Ticket2Go solution is the so-called PHub (peripheral hub), a small board that is installed inside the machine and powered by the machine’s MPU. The PHub acts as the machine’s hopper, intercepting all signals to and from the hopper. The coins rush directly down to the cashbox and make the hopper redundant. When the player presses the cash-out button, a 2D barcode ticket is printed which the player takes to the bar for redemption. The high-level encryption of the payout information guarantees that the ticket is as safe as the chip cards used by today’s banking systems.

By using a high security 2D barcode ticket, all the payout information is stored on the ticket itself and therefore, the machine does not need to be connected to a system for ticket verification. Ticket2Go does not require a floor network, no wiring nor additional power cables. This makes moving machines around extremely simple and obviously reduces costs considerably.

The system reduces the amount of cash in the game as well as the number of times that cash needs to be handled resulting in less fraud and shrinkage. Once the ticket has been paid at the bar, the status of the ticket changes in the system and cannot be redeemed again.

Based on the industry’s leading and proven FutureLogic ticket printing technology with over 1.5 million printers installed in gaming operations around the world, FutureLogic ticket-out printer can either be mounted inside the machine cabinet or is fitted externally, attached to the side of legacy machines in a robust and secure side box.

Ticket2Go has got its own ticket reconciliation and audit functions and can also be integrated with the operator’s own accounting systems. It is a very flexible tool for street market operators who are looking for an intelligent solution to overcome their hopper starvation problems whilst decreasing staff intervention.
