It was initially an operating company, however, current Managing Director Harry Levy soon utilised his 18 years manufacturing experience to produce his own machines. These were pusher-style games, which to this day, still make up 70 percent of the machines manufactured in the company's headquarters in Broadstairs, Kent. Harry Levy Amusements diversified into novelty and redemption in the mid 1980s and has become a leading manufacturer of this type of machine in the UK. The company also imports and distributes games, mainly from North America. Since 1984, the company has widened its export base, appointing first class, well-respected companies to act as distributors worldwide.
These include Coastal Amusements of the US, Charlier Brabo of Belgium, Loontjens of the Netherlands and Tecnoplay of Italy.
